    I'm learning how to compost egg shells. Any videos.

      @CathyGoes Před 4 lety +1

      Egg shells are composed primarily of calcium. That isn't going to break down like organic matter(leaves and what not). You are better off drying them out, grinding, and then using it as a soil amendment.

    How does the chickens following cows 3-5 days later not effect the grass growth cycle?

    • @izzardcoteel5539
      @izzardcoteel5539 Před rokem

      It probably does a small bit but chickens don’t eat grass like a cow so it’s not super significant

    Get a raspberry controlled gate that closes after the first 10 birds go through. Mark them, and keep track over several moves check who the fastest mover is.
    Your welcome.😁

    Great,,,, now,,, explain how you make up for all the losses your going to have from aerial predators, since you have insufficient overhead coverage for them to seek out? ;)

      Big Al Sparks I saw on another video that they run geese with the chicken to alert them to aerial predators.

    • @BigAlSparks
      @BigAlSparks Před 6 lety

      ok, thanks, but even a goose's wide wing span can't provide cover for them. It's like having an alarm system on your house, but having no lock on your door. Where do the chickens hide?

      Big Al - Was the goose warning starts they take shelter where they lay eggs, they can all fit there and they dont move far out during the day.
