We have to go back to the hospital because Sevi boo needs surgery. He has inguinal hernia, that requires closure as soon as possible. Itâs not a super rare operation (Thank God), but because he is just 7 weeks old, I canât bear putting him under this much physical and emotional stress. And shempre as a mom, you can imagine how wrecked I feel. Iâve been researching about Inguinal Hernias all week, and I even watched some actual operation footage which probably wasnât the best idea. Iâm more freaked out than ever đ
Scottie boo is also recovering from a flu. He had a fever of 38 and was experiencing cough and colds. Thank God it isnât Covid. ( He is currently recovering well. )
Oh the woes of being a mom. Itâs definitely the most painful feeling to see your kids unwell. Praying with all my heart and soul that both kids are able to overcome this and recover well. đđŒ

Sending hugs kryz! My son had inguinal hernia when he was barely 2mos old. Got him operated asap too. It went smoothly. I was even allowed to go inside the recovery to soothe him. To let him knw mama was there to comfort him. I can truly relate to what u r feeling now. The nxt morning aftr that, he was ok. As in ok. As if if hasnt gone under the knife. Today my son is almost 14yo & u can see no trace of the surgery.

Hello Kryz! My son was operated as well with inguinal hernia. He got operated when he was 2 months old we found out when he was just a month old. It's more stressful to us than for the babies to be honest. Thankfully the operation only took 30-40 minutes and healing was super fast after a week the wound is already okay. đđ»
For the extractions, and putting on IV, I just budle him up in a blanket with only the arm for extraction left outside. That way he cannot flail his arm/legs and normally aids for quicker extraction. Itâs very heartbreaking to see this. đ„Č
Recovery from anesthesia lasted 2 hours for my baby. Just keep a close look at the oxygen level especially once he's already awake. After that my baby was so hungry because of the fasting he latched right away. âșïž

Hi Mommy how did you found out that your daughter has a hernia?
@@marineltapang3705 there was a bulge in her right groin then sometimes it will just disappear. I brought her to our Pediatrician, she ordered an imaging test (abdominal ultrasound) to confirm if it's a hernia. After being diagnosed that she has an inguinal hernia, we went to a Pedia Surgeon.
Ps. The surgery took only 18 mins. Our Pedia Surgeon is really the best! Now my child is ten years old.
i am still in college and those stuff would scare me as well, especially when it happens to kids. operations and such are really scary, but i'm hoping that the skyfam will be strong. i'm praying for the fast recovery. we're always here mommy kryz.

Hi Kryz, my baby was also operated on when he was just a month old. I feel what you are feeling right now. It is really hard for us parents. I can still remember waiting outside the operating room. That was the longest hour of my life. Our Surgeon was considerate enough to let me in and be there for my baby before he closed the wound. I'll pray for your baby's successful operation and fast recovery as well.

My cousin, one of the twins who were born right after you uploaded the video on Sevi's birth, also has hernia. The doctor told his parents that it'll be gone or 'go back in' in about 6 months to a year but if it doesn't go back to normal in 3 years, there's an option for surgery. Praying for both of these babies and their parents for strength and healing đ€

My son had bilateral inguinal hernia too, we discovered it during his 2nd week of life and he got repaired when he was 6mons before he walks.
Now his already going 7 years old. We're glad that we have it repaired because now my son is so energetic and playful.

My eldest son had diaphramatic hernia diagnosed when he was only 2 days old because he was not able to breath well since his left lung is under developed because his intestine went up to the lungs, thankfully he got surgery right away. Cried watching this. I feel you Kryz. My son was diagnosed with congenital hypothyroidism 1 week after I gave birth. I know itâs kind of a different thing but looking at our little one and realizing they are feeling something when they are that tiny makes us feel so helpless. But goo thing it was just transient and he is now okay and healthy. Praying Shoti will be okay soon. đ€đđđœ
