Pretty simply demonstration but the idea behind it works for any use case where you need to detect in a waterproof setting.
Haven't tested battery longevity with the setup but the vision sensor claims to use 0.35 W and one could further restrict usage to times of the day when there's visibility in case it wasn't getting a full amount of sun.

Intentionally included the API key as part of the demonstration -- I had deleted the bot / invalidated the key prior to posting the video. In general you want to avoid sharing it (unless demonstrating as part of a tutorial) as it could give access to others (in this case giving them the ability to spam you).
