To be honest I simply love medium drop point version in D2. Though I own other shapes including warncleavers.

Love the design and have tried the drop point but as you mention, the fit and finish just isn’t there even for the low price. A cut for me, too

I want something with that blade shape, but it sounds like you don't care for the action. Any other warncliff or sheepsfoot blades you'd recommend?
