Chrome challenging Senku to a math battle is the equivalent of a middle school math student trying to out math a fucking computer

I think it's more like a 5 year old trying to win a ChatGPT trivia battle. he just didn't have a chance and everyone saw it and laughed.

@@pumpkingameboxI wonder if they would respond by A. Answering the problem, B. Ask them to solve a seemingly more complex problem, or C. The rational but probably least likely answer, both a and b, because a conversation about math like any other conversation, is a 2 way street

I love that after this they were basically like "game recognizes game" and became best friends. Senku is playing a bit of an intimidation game here because he needs to impress them, but he really understands how amazing it is that Chrome learned all of that stuff on his own at that age from scratch. Senku had the benefits of 12000 years of human progress

I love that moment where he thinks to himself that Tsukasa's plan is doomed to fail because humans like Chrome will exist in any era. There will always be people who'll experiment and discover things, as is human nature.

i hate that they cut out Kohaku also being good at math. it comes up in an important part later in the manga! Kohaku isn’t just a gorilla, she’s a gorilla that can do two digit multiplication in her head!

In the manga, Senku estimated she's basically average in intelligence, neither smart or dumb (a bit more smarter than Kinro, not as smart as Yuzuriha), if given a modern education she'd be the C grade student (Chrome on the same scale was equal to Tsukasa, only a bit below Senku himself).
