  • The table saw is one of the most common woodworking tools for a reason. Paired with the right jigs, it's incredibly useful for making repeatable, accurate cuts. You likely have scrap wood laying around your shop to make these jigs, and get even more bang for your buck from your table saw.

Hahaha he certainly steals the show. You happened to drop this comment on his first birthday too.
      And thank you!

Thanks for the video. We all need more jigs.

Good ideas for jigs! I really should add a tenon jig to my fleet.

Thanks Jake! I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's going to get some use on the next "avoiding chores" project that I have in mind.

A lot of really cool ideas in this video. I love the take on the crosscut sled, it would be incredibly easy to clamp spacers to it for angled cuts.

Thanks Bass! I tried to combine what I liked and avoid what I didn't from others I've seen. And avoided the 5 cut method like the plague lol. Yes, it would!

Nice video! Walter is really cute. I wondered if you've considered painting your OSB walls white? It can help with reflected light and make work easier and safer. I appreciate what you said in another video about bringing tools to the work in a small shop, which is what I have. Thank you!

      Thank you Greg!
I have thought about it but I kinda like the look of the plain osb. I'm in a different shop than this now (equally small and osb walls) but with better lighting, and I'm pretty satisfied.
Yes! That is still my strategy, in fact, I've doubled down on it.
      Thanks for watching!
