    so you just install this & don't have to dyno tune the bike after?

    Too bad the local dyno wasn't open yet. It would have been really Interesting to see before and after readings. Good work on your video.

    Hey, just bought a z900 myself. What fender eliminator did you use and how was the install?

    • @BamAustian
      @BamAustian  Před 6 lety +1

      justice bachtell It is the R&G eliminator. The install wasn’t bad. Taking old one off was a bit of a pain. And to tap in to the wire harness save your self and remove the rear tail piece. It’s only couple of bolts and makes it so much easier to access everything

    @Bam Austian Hi. How you like the bike overall? What was your previous bike model? Im looking for a bike, seems this one is the right direction. Was looking at MT09 aswell, but not sure yet.
    Thanks

    So did you end up leaving the baffle out or in? Nice progress on your bike. I'll be doing all my mods over the winter in hopes that 2WheelDynoWorks gets an ECU flash for the Z900. I like to have that done rather than run an after market controller. Worst case I end up running one. What air filter are you looking to pick up? I'll probably see if DNA has one available in the coming months as that's what is on my FZ-07 and it's a great addition.

    • @BamAustian
      @BamAustian  Před 7 lety

      I will have to start looking into the filters. You have link where I can see if DNA has one? I still have the baffle out at this time. I haven't been riding it much for work as I've been traveling during the week some. Hoping to get good drive by with acel and decel soon. My winter project is the bike in the background. Probably start a build series on it :). I've never heard of 2wheeldynoworks.... that sounds like a good solution

      Nels is the guy that owns 2WheelDynoWorks and he does a ton of work for race teams and knows his stuff. He'll have to have a bike to do the tune and flash so it's something to keep an eye on for me unless I take mine up to him for a road trip which could be fun! 2wheeldynoworks.com/
      I look at the ECU Flash, because there isn't a Dyno/Tuner anywhere near me that I've found yet. He also will reflash and make any changes for free after your initial flash which is nice.
      This is the company for the DNA Filters you'll just have to check back occasionally since the Z900 is so new, but my hopes is over the winter these companies get some loaner bikes. www.dnafilters.com/ www.dnafilters.com/en/products/dna-stage-2-a-3-applications.html?sid=1351:KAWASAKI
      I'll be doing all the mods to my Z900 over the winter and maybe seeing about doing some Ohlin's Suspension on my FZ-07 and Z125. I like the Z900's so far, but it'll get Ohlin's at some point too.

    If you the do just a muffler and link pipe does it need to be tuned ?

    • @8OneOfTheNobodies8
      @8OneOfTheNobodies8 Před 6 lety +1

      my kawasaki dealer says that even with full exhaust system the bike dont need any adjustment, no need for power command or anything, and that is from a kawasaki dealership
