That’s a tough one but I think if that were my primary intention for choosing a sub specialty then I would probably do comprehensive. Cataract surgery is a huge part of mission work. Other sub specialties can of course be applied but things like retina, cornea, and glaucoma surgery tend to require more continued follow up which is tough for mission work.
My retina Dr saved my sight when I was 15. I will remember him forever. He’s an angel.

Id start very basic with ophtho book, wills, and maybe practical Ophthalmology
