I think this video answers the question "what techno is about"
To me, a fellow classic rock/indie/instrumental music enjoyer, it has opened a whole new genre to explore
    Thank you

Fun fact: Techno in its true form has no specific genre. It is a set of principles for unique electronic music creation. Basically, digital Jazz.

Really appreciate this type of tutorial. It’s very thoughtful and in depth and compared to others, actually helps in understanding in what’s going on with foreign software and hardware. I use FL and no hardware but feel like I could use ableton and your gear and start playing straight away. Keep doing this and you might help lots of us.

Man this was so helpful. Thank you so much! Its funny how when you don't know what you don't know, it makes it so hard to fill in the gaps. This filled in some gaps that have caused me so much discouragement in my learning process. Thank you so much! Liked and subscribed! I hope I can find more help from you!

Just curious, Is this the way you write? When I get wrapped up in automation so early (in Logic Pro) and then continue making and moving things the software continually bugs me about moving automation/copying automation. I have to wait until the mixing stage or I go insane. I am guessing this was only for the sake of the video.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing the creative process of creating a very rhythmic feel. You mentioned you were going for the rhythmic feel and would show 4 on the floor later to see how it’s a very different feel. Too bad the 4 on the floor example was missed. But we all know the 4 on the floor is stuck in our heads. So this was a refreshing change.
