    Great video! I've never been to Port Canaveral or anywhere in Florida for that matter and my anxiety can overwhelm me! This was very helpful for me, thank you.

      Hi NolaBaby83, thanks for watching. No need to feel anxious, but I get how going to a new place can be stressful. I do highly recommend using GoPort as they can handle all of your needs and make getting to and from Port Canaveral easy and enjoyable.

      Hi Ms.Diva_P, thanks for watching. Port Canaveral is one of the farthest cruise ports from a major airport. Go Port provides a ton of value with their various packages.

    Did the playground at the port get built? If so where is it located? Near which terminal?

      Hi Ryan, thanks for watching. There is a playground at Jetty Park which is closest to Carnival's new Terminal 3.

    How long does it really take to go from downtown Orlando to Orlando Airport? According to Google it's only 8-9miles, but have been told it can take an hour, is that true. I'm taking amtrak into Orlando & it seems the easiest way to get ANY SHUTTLE to get to Port Canaveral is to get on a shuttle from the airport. Thank you.

    • @TalkingCruise
      @TalkingCruise  Před 2 lety

      Hi S Swan, thanks for watching. To get from the Amtrak station in Orlando to Airport (MCO) is around 10 miles, which should take no more than 30 minutes. You are correct, that you'll have the most options for transfers from the airport to Port Canaveral including using GoPort. If you plan on a pre-cruise night in Orlando or Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach, there are also packages that include transfers.

    Hello where can you check luggage after embarkation to discover these adventures?

    • @TalkingCruise
      @TalkingCruise  Před 2 lety

      Hi Coco Mill, thanks for watching. If you've already check-in and are onboard the ship, your bags should be
      checked with the pierside porters. If you are asking about where to put your carry on bags, you might be able to drop them off to your room.

      Hi, there are several companies that offer luggage holding services, some might even pick up your luggage from the ship terminal. You can search on Google for luggage holding Port Canaveral.

    • @TalkingCruise
      @TalkingCruise  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Tim2000, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, another aspect of how this pandemic has affected the cruise business is loss of income for the many port workers, and companies that provide shoreside services to the guests and the cruise lines.

    • @CrazyMrTim
      @CrazyMrTim Před 3 lety +2

      @@TalkingCruise I live close to port canaveral and it's been months since I've seen cruise ships going in and out. The pandemic has wreaked havoc on the airline industry for crew and mechanics, also. I was laid off for 4 months because we had no planes to work on because hardly anybody was flying.
