As a Starbucks barista, I have some tips!
I can let you know that the creme and coffee bases are mostly just emulsifiers with sugar (and coffee flavor in the coffee base) so that the blended drink doesn't separate too quickly. You honestly don't even need to add a base if you don't want it, it adds a surprising number of calories, but it DOES have an effect on the texture of the drink. Without it, it's got a very "I stuck a popsicle in a blender" texture rather than that signature slushie-like texture.
If you DO like the bended strawberry lemonade, we DO add creme base in house to make sure it doesn't separate before it gets to you. Also, we only use strawberry to the top of the bottom little indentation on the cup (literally just a little at the bottom), and then the lemonade to the bottom black line, and that's what makes it a little "sour" like she was saying! The rest is just ice and the emulsifier.

I tried the bubble gum frap but I had to make strawberry purée and cream base at home from scratch. It was a long process but it tasted amazing and would definitely recommend!

Current barista: you freaking killed this! I couldn't be bothered to buy and make half the stuff to get this at home. You made your own starwberry puree????? 12/10, above and beyond. Refreshes are weird and very hard to reproduce without the signature base. And then everything else comes down to having the syrup flavor you like.

I think the “Ariana Grande frappe” is basically the same as the “Cloud Macchiato”
If u don’t know what that is, it’s basically a drink (that’s actually rlly good but I can’t describe the taste lol) that Ariana Grande and Starbucks made together
Not sure if it’s similar tho, that’s just what I think
Cloud macchiatos are far different from frappes. The clouds get cloud powder that's sweetened, vanilla syrup with 2% milk and we basically blend it but in a special blender. Frappes don't have espresso in it. They have frapp roast in it which is basically just coffee.
