They did Transformations with James ST. James "out of drag" (in a masculine beat). It's not a secret what they look like out of drag so I'm kinda surprised that more people wouldn't recognize them. Although, perhaps drag fans in general (outside of the RPDR fandom) are maybe more respectful of artist's personal space/private lives and know if they're not in drag it's better not to approach? I mean, if I were to see the Boulet brothers or another queen I admire outside of drag I would probably not want to bother them.
I think the more well known they have become the more mysterious they are. As far as approaching them when out of drag, for me it would be as for any celebrity I stan. I would love to have their autograph or say a simple hello. I would be as respectful as possible of course. If there was any sign not wanting the attention I would back off. Everyone deserves their space.

As much of a hardcore dragula fan I am if I heard their voices my heart would beat so fast it's a dream of mine to meet them and get a pic with them one day,at a appropriate event of course but I could never approach them out of respect but I can't say I wouldn't try to sneak just a peak real quick lol I think I would be able to recognize them out of drag with no problem.So I'm sure other people could too.Just hope other people also respect their wishes of maintaining their privacy,when their not in drag,because it's important to them,to have that balance ❤
I ran into them in downtown LA! I heard Drac's voice behind me, turned around and sure enough it was the both of them out of drag (looked like they were going to the gym). Didnt approach them tho, out of respect-- but yeah, Drac's voice is 💯 clockable.

I love how confident they are with their drag altho they lack a lot of personality in their own show. They have a lot of potential but they are unable to reach mainstream because, i guess, they are always involved in the production and their production skills isn’t as good as what a GOOD TV moment mean. They should be more interesting on TV and they should hire a production team with fresh minds to take their very good show, Dragula, to the next level. But for now, it seems that their ego is refraining them from becoming big names … a 100,000 award doesn’t make the show more successful .. its the production level .. not how much u pay .. but how u do it .. u guys are wasting a lot of money on a great concept with a very bad taste, writing and direction and again, they should be more interesting than their queens, which is not what u see in their show
After 17+ years, if they wanted to be "mainstream" they would have, but obviously they don't and people in that community of drag and support that type of drag understand that. They are very respected in the underground and alternative drag art world. Mainstream drag shows are cringe in my opinion. Boulet has their audience and don't need to conform to fit in.
You don’t understand them at all. They don’t want to be mainstream and the production value of season 4 is incredible, there is nothing wrong with it IMO except I want longer episodes so we can see a better more in depth cut of each contestants door show rather than the mash up montage but instead like a slightly longer edit of each person with the actual live audio maybe that’s the only thing I could ask for to be different (not even objectively better just my personal taste).
They clearly have the money to be exactly like drag race if they want but that’s NOT what they want - they want to be Dragula and if they were forced to edit themselves to be mainstream they would have to take out everything that makes the show so unique and it’s whole essence and make it flat and dry and generic. They are IN CHARACTER on the show, and real fans understand that - they occasionally show little moments of them breaking character and being relaxed and goofy but it would be stupid and bad for their brand and not what they want to do or enjoy doing to ditch the characters and act like generic bubbly Tv hosts on every single mainstream show. Fans love their characters so we like seeing them in character on dragula - when we want to see their casual personality we watch other content of them like interviews etc.
