    Hi Vanessa,

  • @nick5435

Notifications are working! Secrets Maroma beach in June! Finally pulled the trigger! Only concern is that seaweed but oh well. Love the new video idea!

  • @mylesroettger5397

I realize it might not be your forte but how about some adult resorts without the screaming loud entertainment all day and night? Very chill and a great beach.

  • @ShadowSolaris

I'd looove to hear more about Bora Bora: the best overwater bungalow and things to do

  • @AshleyKopczynski-zt5cd

I was wondering if you could do an updated top ten of the secrets resorts?

  • @seanm81416

Thanks for the upload Vanessa! Bora Bora is my most fantasized bucket list travel destination. I second @ShadowSolaris! I'd love to see you do a more detailed pros/cons and best hotels of Bora Bora.

  • @sope2030

I just came back from visiting family in Scottsdale two weeks ago. I really enjoy Scottsdale and there's lots to do, and I almost moved there 12 years ago to take a job. Still wish I had, but that's life. 100% agree that there are so many places to go eat. I have been to Scottsdale quite a bit and I've never eaten at the same place twice. This is the first time we've been down since COVID. We always make a trip up to Sedona to go hiking or mountain biking, and I've seen it get ridiculously more crowded over the years. When I first went 14 years ago, nobody was there and it was a pretty laid-back town. Two weeks ago it was bumper-to-bumper traffic and nowhere to park. Still very busy. The cool thing about central and Eastern AZ is that there's so much outdoor stuff to do. I also fly fish, and there's fantastic fly fishing around Flagstaff, or to the East in the White Mountains. Most vacation resorts I go to, I try to book them in countries that have great fly fishing. I do a lot of saltwater fly fishing in Mexico, particularly north of Cancun (Isla Blanca) and south of Tulum (Ascension Bay). Easy day trips while my wife soaks up sun at the pool. I just wish there were more all-inclusives in Belize, as it's great fishing and we prefer the all-inclusive options.

We have trips booked this year to Sedona/Scottsdale, and Cancun. I’m feeling pretty excited about them all showing up in this video 😎!

Great video. Bora Bora definitely on my to do list and planning a trip to Costa Rica for next winter!! Just returned from Cancun area last week. Stayed at the TRS Yucatan on the advice of my travel agent. We had asked her for something Adult only, nice, laid back but not boring, good food, good drinks that wasn't crazy expensive. TRS is just that! I would say its very close to Secrets/Excellence levels at significantly lower $. IMO it's very equivalent to Valentin Imperial, again for less $. Just for illustration we booked in late November 2023 for first week of April 2024 and paid $2400 CAD/person for 7 days which included everything (ie flight from Toronto to Cancun, hotel, airport transfers and taxes). When we booked Secrets Akumal was $2900ish, Secrets Maroma was $3200 and Valentin Imperial was $2800. TRS is a bit of a ride from the airport, around 75min. It's about 10-15 min south of Valentin Imperial. TRS is part of the Grand Palladium complex so you have use of TRS plus 3 other large non adult only properties. The TRS section is completely self contained and there is no need to leave unless you want to explore the other resorts. A draw back for some is that there is no beach directly in front of TRS but the 2km long Palladium beach is not far and there is a dedicated adult only TRS section of the beach as well. Wasn't a big deal to us as we like to walk (all though cart rides are easily available too) and there is a spectacular 3 tier infinity pool right on the ocean at TRS with great ocean views a well as a beautiful saltwater pool right at oceans edge. ( my one complaint about Valentin is that you cannot see the ocean from anywhere other than the beach or the very expensive emerald ocean view suites). There is also a restaurant and 3 bars right on the ocean plus another bar/grill at the TRS beach area. Food was some of the best I've ever had at an all inclusive, premium liqour at all the bars, great service. It was probably the best value for $ I've ever had at an all inclusive.
