You are so welcome! I started crocheting at her age...I made a granny square poncho! I have a beginner crochet series that could help her begin to learn and many of my tutorials are suited for beginners. It is a wonderful craft to learn at any age (and for boys too!)

See 2:10 in the video where the squares are placed "wrong sides" together. You are working with the right sides facing out, therefore the bag is already right side out.
