    There's absolutely no need to have a private health insurance in Austria, please don't be fooled!!!
    Even if you're going to a private Dr, you have to pay for yourself, but the general insurance pays you 80 % back if you send them the bill.

      Hello. What is the procedure for searching a doctor in Austria? Do I need to go to the closest hospital and register myself there? Or search online for doctors?

    • @noizW
      @noizW Před rokem +1

      @@rutavitkauskaite7512 you just need to pick a doctor and call and make an appointment (and ask if it's private or covered by general health insurance, but 99 % is covered and even not, you'll pay for example 90,- and get 75,- Euro back)

    I am giving you the 1000th like of this video dear! I really do plan to move to Austria soon and your content is really helpful. Considering the fact I am working in the IT industry hopefully I will get a good job offer soon enough but what really frightens me is all the documentation and burocracy that I have to face with when arriving there and also finding a suitable apartment.

    There is also a very big market for Flats without using a real estate agent. Its a more time consuming and you also need some patience but i got all my flats like that. Never paid a real estate agent. Never had the need for that

      If you mention that you are from Prussia in Austria, you will receive not the nicest comments. Prussia is for Austrians the stereotyp of the not-so-nice germans.

    So for the rent, if somebody go with an estate agent has to give 3 rents to estate agent and 3 rents warranty to the landlord. In total 6 rents?

    Do I need to deposit the same amount I did for the first 12 months residence permit again for the next 12 months of residence renewal?

    • @prinzessin71
      @prinzessin71 Před rokem

      No. Normally when you do a contract via an agency the deposit is up to them, but mostly it's about 3 months rent (incl. taxes, etc) and 3 months of rent (also incl. taxes, etc) for the deposit. When you move out and everything's fine, you'll get almost everything back... And normally you have a 3 year contract and after this 3 years you can either terminate the contract and move out or you say nothing and the contract continues for another year and so on... The things are a bit different, when you rent from a private person! ;-)

    May I ask,Can other country can school in austria for 1 year of 2 years or longer then that? or maybe stay in austria for many years? and how cost does it cost for staying in austria?

    • @PetraBotekova
      @PetraBotekova  Před 4 lety

      You mean as an exchange student? The average cost are €1.500 in Vienna, less in smaller cities in Austria. As a student you should be fine with under €1.000.

      very good!!!! If you're working in a pharmacy, you start at 2500,- netto + alot of extra money (if the pharmacy has open over night you get 200 % salary), in total you can come around up to 5.000,- Euro a month. Which gives you a very high standard of living here.

    u left out residence permit ....to certify you will live indefintely in Oe. i went to Amt. where hundreds of people were queueing. at noon they stopped giving out tickets. so i wasted 4 hours of my life . a few days later i arrived at 8am as advised , also hundreds of people in queue , got ticket . 5.5 hours later i left the building after an abrasive interview with snotty clerk who insisted on proof that my pension " had been decided upon " ... ( not awarded , as i readily proved to her by showing pay receipts ). I still dont have the permit , i " may provide proof by email .. to another office " ....they said. Beware . youre supposed to do this after 2 months residence.
