CoolAs became one of my favorite Key songs within the first minute of listening to it. I freaking love the vibe. Key has a natural self confidence that he can't hide. Those lyrics fit him. It's who he is, and that's awesome. The whole album is really wonderful. I've had it on repeat all day.

I've been listening CoolAs mostly with Good & Great. Love it! The lyrics are epic, make me feel like the coolest even tho I sing to my two cats while in pajamas hahahah and I'm 38, not the youngest Shawol 😅
CoolAs hands down is my favourite song in the album and one of my favourites this year. I squealed when I first heard this because it gives me Jessie Ware & Kylie Minogue disco dance kinda song and arguably almost no one does this in K-pop (all I can think of is TWICE's F.I.L.A, but please correct me if I'm wrong) Also, the lyrics doesn't come across as self-affirmation / self-love mantra or braggadocio to me. It feels more like Key's sass, confidence & wit and he often says all of those things as jokes. It's the epitome of him and I feel the lyrics portrayed this perfectly (it also says "he's so nice, how he do that?", which is very him) If you're interested, the stage performance is gorgeous!

I’ve realized now for the first time that I’d prefer listening to new releases along with you because it was more meaningful and just plain fun than on my own. For some reason Mirror, Mirror started making me emotional…I need to find more translations for that one…it really hit me. For the reason you mentioned, I wasn’t going to buy the album (I just took in a stray kitty and need to save up for my new princess), but then I watched Key’s Visible Radio live and he showed the different versions 😭 so I had to get the Work Report one; I just loved the format. I fell in love with SHINee during the DCM era, and yours was the first reaction channel I watched related to that…you’re the best! I can only imagine how difficult it must be to work a full time job and find time to manage a CZcams channel on top of that, so THANK YOU. You are Good & Great!

I remember you saying something similar abt poison love by dreamcatcher- theres something about more lowkey(?) or sad club/dance music with a really strong baseline that itches my brain, i always gravitate to that kind of sound too. this album has a great tracklist overall for people like us hehe
he reminds me of sophie ellis baxtor, scissor sisters, daft punk, boy george etc there is nothing asian in his music and there is no asian artist right now that does this kind of music. he is the only one. he always travels back in time and in music like not even shinee does as a whole group. that's how genius kim kibum is.

We had that little online diary of Jinki's when he came back from the army, and this is actually shot in real office space of SM when we're talking about the big office place. So he really saved them money (I bet they shut off traffic in front of the building too, for the dance scenes - they filmed that Killer tunnel choreo in a real working car tunnel and Kibum said they basically waited for cars to pass in the night and then filmed bits of the choreo...), so he gets a bit of money for CGI ^^ - and creative directors who want to film his videos.
