    That first tip just exploded my family tree! I've already found way more than I had even hoped to find. Well, until we go back to Germany, and then I hit a wall. But my England ancestry shows all the way to the 800s!

      Yeah my paternal side goes back to Germany but it’s very hard to get beyond my ancestors arriving in Pennsylvania in 1738.

    New York records are only up to early 1920's that are available to view

    I just wanted to ask Andy if he knows where from the uk (england) his Lee family came from what county for example 😉😉

      Our Lee family is actually Garnetts from Western New York. We have an ancestor who ran from the law and changed his surname from Garnett to Lee.
      However, the Keverne line is from St. Keverne, Cornwall, England.

      Im actually from germany and my mother is american and she's Lee and my Lee side came from utah but according to my mom they were originally from virginia .
      i thought our Lee might be related .

      @@FamilyHistoryFanatics We share similar genes with the people of south west england so my ancestors pretty much came from that area

    Devon, there is a record for a Helen Anderson in Howard County that lists her nationality as Swedish. Might be one of your relatives!!!!
