Runtown (born Douglas Jack Agu) is a Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer with a diverse music style mixing Hip-Hop, RnB, Reggae and Rap. This is my favorite Afrobeats song of all time.
It was released in Nov 2016, and the next month I got my first financial break, had a car to myself, and this song played every time I put on the radio while I was “detty decembering”. It was such a sweet December.

Im latino from West Coast. Went to NY last year and got a haircut at a barbershop in Harlem. They was bumpin this nigerian stuff and I had never heard it before but i immediately asked him what it was. He was like, “Man you dont know nuthin about this”.... I had to get up a gig to show him Im with the game. Blew their mind seein a 6’5 whiteboy get down like me😂😂 Now everytime I hear this stuff I think of that day. GREAT STUFF.
