    The thing about this song is they're saying a lot of old school nursery rhymes & pop culture. So, as DOPE as you think this song is it's actually even better if you know what they're talking about.

    I remember when this song came out... we didn't know what they were saying... All we knew was we liked it. Correct me if I'm wrong but Bone Thugs and Harmony came out not long after and kind of perfected that style of rap with their own twist.

    • @djb10
      @djb10 Před rokem +2

      Das EFX & Common (then Common Sense) came out 1st & around the same time & both had similar flows. Then Twista (then Tung Twista), Do or Die, Bone Thugs & believe it or not, Jaz-O & a guy named Jay-Z had a song called The Originators that did the fast rap style. Bone Thugs just happened to get a bigger piece of that style's pie along w/ the credit.

    The song is a sample from a James Brown and JB's song called "Blind Man Can See it.) like more than half of the hip hop songs from the 80-90's. I remember a time where just about every hip hop song that came out was a sample of a James Brown song.
    Anyways, "Blind Man Can See It" was originally on the Black Ceasar movie soundtrack which was written and produced by James Brown. C L A S S I C of a C L A S S I C S.
    Maybe that should be the next reaction.
