@@m.m9769 the only issue i have here is how do you survive the combat of FF14 after playing GW2 ^^ Basically the same but in slowmotion it is so hard to stay awake for me. Had several sessions I felt asleep during exploration and combat. (They have of course a few quite good things but most combat related stuff was just awful for me)

+Baron Walker You got a good point many players just rush in maps and not look around to the stuning playns in some maps.I play GW2 for 1 year and 6 months and i am at 71 % world completion now with HOT i gona have alot more to explore but i dont care no other game have so beautifull exploration fun like GW2 GG to the creators of this masterpiece :)

This video is beyond brilliant. There are so many parts of the game that I recognized while other places came as a total surprise. Some corners of Tyria I didn't even notice until I saw them in the video. Definitely a great thing!

Cool video. This almost takes me back to my first weeks in GW2 when all I wanted to do is explore and the settings you have bring a whole new layer to gw2.
I got so nostalgic over this, this is one of the most beautiful things i have seen in a while. my favorite was the tarnished coast (bit of bias cause my main is a sylvari) but the music was like i was experiencing it for the first time and along with the images. I can only say good things about this
ahh the music, the beautiful world all around. so awesome. one of the main reasons i play gw2 and i'm proud that gw2 is so beautiful. sometimes i just turn my UI off and walking on, and just slowly stroll through the world. i love all of tyria, but my fav is the shiverpeaks. so damm amazing. tnx man i love these kind of videos :D

The skies are just gorgeous! It's also amazing how many great views that are missed because we always have the camera tilted down.

I am actually very close to once more exploring the entire world and I've got so many screens, yet so many things I've missed.
Can anet pls make a server without any angry mobs so we can just run around in first person all day long and turn up in-game music to max?
There's no need for a whole server for that - we just need a tonic that does the same thing! Something that turns you invisible, until you turn it off - to both, players and enemies. However, while you're using it, you will get no progress on anything whatsoever (not unlocking any waypoints, PoIs, no interactions available, etc.) - and once you turn it off, you're instantly teleported to the place you were at when you started using it.

I'm not sure how CZcams's scaling algorithm works, but this is the best looking video I have ever seen on CZcams at 1080p60 setting.

say what you will about this game, content wise, but nobody can deny how truly beautiful it is.. I remember wandering around in awe during beta.. here I am over three years later and I still get giddy seeing some of the scenery again!

For around 3 years I played this game on a laptop that- bless it- struggled for mid/low graphic options across the board, even then though I was stunned by the environments and little overlooked assets. This year I was able to upgrade to a fairly powerful desktop so to revisit basically everywhere I decided to get world completion on my rev.
Reminds me of how many little stories there are throughout the game. Great vid :)

Wow good job that ending scene with the dragon! I was actual scared for a second ! I didn't care for the first part of the video. Maybe it would have been better in the middle just the pace was too much for the start. And the charr areas are blah anyway I think the long still shots were fantastic and your cinematic skills got better and better. You have to do a heart of thorns version!

Hey wp! being an artist myself and playing this game from launch, I was very happy to see you come out with such an artistic video! I have found myself lost on the beautiful landscapes in this game. Curious however where the beautiful bamboo forest with shafts of sunlight is around 12 mins or so. I know every area but that in the video.
I found the preset pretty good, if a bit oversatured. I'll have to play around with it some more, though I'll probably end up toning down the bloom somewhat.
However it does have one glaring issue compared to the Framework - the Sharpen filter in MasterEffects is primitive to say the least.
Since most of the MasterEffects stuff is in the Framework 2.0, with additions - and everything your preset uses is there, with a few additions I haven't touched - I made a copy using the framework, but using SweetFX's LumaSharpen instead. Still a few issues to correct - there's a certain noisiness to skin textures that will require either a toning down of color rebalancing, or enabling the dither filter, and the latter has the downside of greatly reducing compresssibility of the output - but at least it solves my initial 'oh my god the jaggies' impression; LumaSharpen can generally maintain the same crispness of textures with much lower edge aliasing.
Especially for people who have SGSSAA enabled through NVidia Inspector, which tends to bring out oversharpening of textures.

Beautiful shots, but you missed a few places! Dry Top, the Silverwastes, and all of the HoT areas! (I don't blame you for not wanting to spoil the expansion, but the maguuma wastes should have been there, especially if you're wanting to showcase what was added to the core game after release).

gorgeous video. But I'm missing the Maguuma Wastelands here. And a mistake on your side: Mt. Maelstrom is a Maguuma Jungle map not a Shiverpeaks one.

I have but one question, how did you control the cameras?
Back when I was playing this, I always wanted to take screens of gorgeous landscapes and such, but all I can do is to find the right angle within the bounds of what the game allows... or find some vistas and take the screens while viewing.
I wanted a free camera and a first person mode. -_-

I uninstalled GW2 a few weeks before the update with the mindset that it was boring me. I enjoyed dungeons and Fractals but the rewards truly made me skeptical. Then with the Spring Patch, I decided to give it another try and actually work in HoT areas. Do you have any suggestions about keeping the game "fresh"?

Also have one question about choosing a class. I'm struggling between Guardian and Warrior. They look almost the same, but they're actully pretty different concerning videos on CZcams. My preference is to have a tough tank, who can easily play solo (like killing elite mobs while leveling) but also be quite useful in any party in dungeons. So, which one is better for such a role War or Guardian? Thank you beforehand:)

Hey WP, I'm having trouble getting ReShade and ICM working together. When I run the game normally, ReShade works, it doesn't when I run it through ICM though. Help?

To me this sounds as is all shown areas were added later.
Also: I am finally leveling my Rev. right now. I guess I will slow down even more and explore more.
This is also the reason why I am not using waypoints.
Not using waypoints is definitely the way to explore Tyria! So many things to see and do off the beaten track! :D
This game is like walking thru an art gallery.
Isn't Mount Maelstrom technically a Tarnished Coast map :P I feel like you rushed Orr a little bit, a lot of people see it as this dark and dirty place but it can be soooo beautiful in a tragic sort of way.

I'd like the video to be only at half or even just at third speed. I rarely found moments in the video to drink in the atmosphere. Especially the first minute was more of a strain to watch for me.

WoW always sounds more appealing because of its history and fandom
But the places to see and explore look far more appealing in GW2
