I toyed with photography in high school, but even in the darkroom the girls didn't appreciate my overtures. Yet your videos make me thirst for the old days of Nikons and Leicaflexeses (-es). HaHa, not really! Great video as always, miss y'all and your drumming. Mazeltov!
The video is soo wide! Great overview! Cool little project! Although, I'd like to see it as an injection moulded plastic for the final if it's getting kickstarted, otherwise it seems like this should just be a DIY kit to download or open source STL 3D printable kit.

The content is great, if you can find a way to do some clickbaity stuff you could be really big. I havent done photography in a long time so Im probably not your target audience but I used to watch a number of photography youtubers like ~8 years ago. I still have my Lumix G7 but its mostly been collecting dust since I never felt like selling it. As for the product featured here... You know those triggers on tripods that lock the gimbals in place? I would have totally expected that to have a sliding rail with something like that. Or the spring loaded metal pegs that you push in through the holes. Its such a simple product to solve such a simple problem that it doesnt matter at all in the long run, just irks me when a product could be improved by technology that has existed since before I was born. Some real goldilocks shenanigans bound to take place for each person that receives one of these.

And ya, I know this gear seems to be lacking in features but compared to other new stands selling at retail I think the price more than compensates for the hefty quality of life features it lacks. It is a simple budget 3D printed thing to get your foot in the door so you don't have to fiddle with awkward tripod set ups or other DIY solutions. Either way, thank you so much for taking the time to watch and reach out. Hope you stick around for the next adventure.

Wah Justin super fan calls me out on altering my process 😆 🤣 I didn't snip the tip this time because I was just rushing. Family had just come home so they were interrupting takes. I was in a rush to get this filmed edited and released in time with the kickstarter. Plus I was full of self doubt thinking that this was gonna be a sucky first vid. Regarding scanning in aperture priority, it's funny coz I actually changed to manual mode for this specific roll to keep the each of the 4 frames of the animations consistent across the wiggle. Usually I do ap priority because it requires less thinking and always turns out fine. Used try to find a shutter speed that would work for the whole roll to keep it consistent but it didn't make the result any better

I think it covers a good niche, or a gap in the market. Copy stands are so specialty that new ones cost a hefty bit
