When I learnt of his passing, it felt like a stab through my chest. I can hardly process the fact that he's no longer with us.
Even in his old age, he was still charming and classy and could do fight scenes with actors twice as younger as him like in the Rock and be the male romantic lead with way younger actresses (e.g. Catherine Zeta-Jones in Entrapment). Sometimes, I almost came to believe that just like Juan Ramirez, his character in Highlander, he was immortal.
I grew up watching Sir Sean Connery's movies: the Bond flicks of course, but also Highlander, the Untouchables, the Name of the Rose, the Rock, Entrapment,... Oftentimes, they helped me get through the crap life threw at me and they still do today... He was the embodiment of charm and self-confidence as well as a huge actor...
Thank you so much Sir Sean for your movies and what they've brought us and may you rest in heaven. I extend my sincerest condolences to your loved ones.
Your silver screen legacy will live on forever.

I live in Greenland, grew up in the 90s, and the first time I took notice of him was him voicing Draco in DragonHeart.
Even my young mind knew dragons weren't real, but if they did, they'd sound like him. Strong and kind at the same time.

He was very handsome in the Bond's movies but he was even better later as he aged so well!
His films have been with us for half a century, and he is a great actor that we will always respect.

I've been a huge fan for many years and meeting him in person was a very meaningful event in my life. I cannot explain grief or sadness as I am neither a psychhologist nor a philosopher, but I don't think old age is a mitigating factor.

Loved it when he walked across set as James Bond and the guitar would start up in time with his walk. That little touched worked. Pure class.
