Viaposte's Multi-Sorter handles several types of flow: parcels, small packages of various shapes, press.
A specialist in logistics, industrial maintenance and transport, Viaposte installed this historic sorter at its Chelles logistics platform in 2008.
It has been modernized through successive retrofits, enabling it to absorb load increases linked to peaks in activity. 📈
Equipped with 8 tippers injecting up to 1,000 goods per tipper, and an overhead conveyor system, the Multi-Sorter's 10 injection zones are fed by product discharge chutes.
Over its 574-meter length, the Multi-Sorter sorts up to 22,000 items per hour ⏰ which exit in one of 742 container outlets.
Dual reading and video coding enable products to be routed and sorted according to a number of parameterized criteria. ⚙️
