I never thought I'd see a better performance from Ms. Channing than the one in "Six Degrees of Separation." Then I saw the "The West Wing." The character of Jed Bartlett would be nothing without this wife.

I actually think the scenes in which the couple is split apart doing their own thing are far more interesting than when they are together. I just didn’t see any chemistry between the two actors.
The way Stockard Channing says "Hello, Pupkin. Hello, Gumdrop." is a masterclass.
That's because she's a master actress.

I still can't see any scene with Abby in it without seeing Rizzo in Grease. She was excellent in that as well.
I think it's great that Rizzo ended up with a nice guy and a good house.
