My ancestors were the Raj Pundits of Bhosle and fled from Nagpur to Chhindwara in 1854 after defeat of Raja Sahib in hands of the British. The Raja Sahib had first incited his subjects to overthrow the British but totally disowned his orders after losing the battle. He too ran away to Jodhpur but his two wives refused to join him. My ancestors established temples in Chhindwara and a locality called Pundipura is still available there. However, my family abandoned Chhindwara after almost 100 years in independent India to finally settle in New Delhi.

The real Founder of Nagpur is Bhakt Buland shah ..and the one who actually developed it into a city was bhakt buland's son Chand sultan (architect of Gandhi Sagar and Gandhi gate)

@@hdmovieclips7477yes..marathas did continue the further development, but the foundation was laid by gond kings...sitabuldi fort and all the roads were made by bakth buland. His son chand sultan built huge walls around the city with solid gates to protect it, made water connection from Nag river ..a proper drainage system , mosques and mandirs,, improved the roads , and built many gates within the city..even the MAHAL (महाल) (where the current bhoslas and gond families live) Was built by chand sultan.

Peshwa were very short minded, they were more concentrated on tax collections. Their vision was not like Shivaji Maharaj. After First Bajirao peshwa all peshwa were thinking tax collection. So they not destroyed Muslim rulers.
For your kind information before ruling or conquering it's the rule to collect tax from other rulers of a particular State and they want chauth for the maintenance of Hindu Empire which is not wrong because on that time Maratha Empire is the Very strong and Big hindu Empire so infront of that there are lots of muslim ruler who ruled a particular territory so for Mughal King that was a rule to give Chauth but the nawab of Bengal had not given so Maratha's had invaded and plundered nawabs so it's not wrong and for your kind information do you know in Bengal today why it's Hindu majority State? It's because of only Maratha's because during invasion Maratha's had invaded nawabs and plundered their wealth and killed 4 lac muslim soldiers who worked for Nawab and killed some Gaddars and by the fear of Maratha's when the Muslim of Bengal Heard they are coming to invade they ran from West Bengal to East Bengal because on that time in west bengal there was 50% hindu and 90% Muslim so 50% muslim ran from western Bengal and after Invasion before 1755 Shri Raghoji Raje Bhosle captured west bengal and then the Nawabs surrendered and Maratha's forgave them they took Orissa from Nawabs and gave them West Bengal to rule only but the control of the state was done by Maratha's and till Panipat Bengal was under Maratha Empire but during Panipat Nawabs joined hand with Ahmad Shah Abdali and there are some Hindu traitors so because of them Maratha's Panipat and after Panipat karnataka 90% portion and the Chauth of Bengal Got out of their hands by which Nawabs became independent again and they ruled only 2 years but under British Nawabs was just there only to rule but British took control of whole Bengal and after 2 years British defeated nawabs and took control of whole India and after independence of India West Bengal came under Independent India (Swaraj) and it became Hindu majority State because 50% hindu portion of west bengal came under India and 50% muslim went to East Bengal which is today's Bangladesh and this majority of Hindu State credit belongs to Maratha's because they are the only one who kicked out the 50% Muslim from West Bengal and that's why West Bengal is under Swaraj otherwise it also became the part of Bangladesh
@@Sanatani_256_ agree with you, but what peshwa did with small hindu king due non payment of taxes is not acceptable. If they were like hindu king, then today's demographics were different, mostly hindu majority India.

The Marathas of Nagpur don't enjoy good reputation is Odisha! We in western Odisha (Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir belt) called them 'bargi'. They were infamous for 'loot lanthan'. The only saving grace was that they did not destroy temples.

असली सैनीक तो मराठा ही थे पेशवा वगेरे कुछ नहीं था छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज जी के सिखाए नितीयो पर ही सब चल रहा था ओर भारत पेशवा ने नही मराठो ने ही जीता था बादमे कुछ लोक पेशवा नाम को प्रोमोट कर रहे है लेकीन लढनेवाला मराठा ही था ओर सबका केंद्रबिंदू छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज ही थे
पेशवा का मतलब ही छत्रपती के वजीर होता है

Good one! 👍 Just that Bhonsles never came to rule south of Cuttack or Odisha. The Eastern strip map is wrong. Raghuji only fought a Battle there against Chanda Sahib (Battle of Damalcherry) and it was then restored to its ruler. That's it. So it cannot be included in Bhonsle's dominions.
