I just asked for a leave of absence to focus on my mental health. This song describes where I am at in my life right now. I am fortunate that I am able to take this leave. It's frustrating though because finding help is hard. I am on waiting lists all over the place. I am not top priority because I am not an addict or suicidal but that doesn't change the fact that I am miserable and hurting (and so are those I live with.) Please pray for me! Love all you guys!

I think it's the mentality of if you are pessimistic you can't ever be let down...he has been let down a lot in life...we all have..and it's so hard to be positive sometimes because the world seems to always snatch it away and shove it in your face, but you gotta push through that. We forget it takes the rain to make the rainbow.

Nf helped me through a very tough time in my life. He ultimately prepared me for future hardships ive had since with the lyrics he provided. He essential allowed me to change my perspective and grow into a much better man for family and friends. Music is for the soul. Nf is a master at this craft.

It's so hard to trust in the positive, especially when you're not familiar with it. It's vulnerable, inherently, and when you've been hurt so badly, you may never have any experience with feeling safe or loved or anything positive, and that's *terrifying*. It's not something you can just,,, do. I'm glad to hear people like NF talking about that.

Idk how to relate to the first part cox i don't reflect on my life when I'm infront of the mirror instead I'd be admiring myslf bout how gud i look, ik for 99% ppl my looks are ugly but idrc cox i love the way i look nd i forget my problems n burdains when i look at myslf in the mirror n whn i c my shadow.... but wt i can relate to is tht I am addicted to pain n ik how n why but it's been going on like tht for so long tht now i don't even try to get out of the darkness i am in, all this pain, suffering nd depression is wt makes me who i am, it is the only thing tht keepin me motivated to keep on moving foward. Could you please react to "Let Me Go"...NF. That is a real deep song, asking for help for the most dangerous thoughts...suicide (in my opinion...working with suicidal people in the past). Its a fantastic, yet sad song.
You should react to 'Only'. I believe it's from the same album 'The Search'. So great. You will love it. It's one of my fav, he goes so deep and it's just so well written. Looking forward to seeing your reaction if you ever get around to it.

I really wish you were in my area. The therapist in my community doesnt listen. She disregards everything you have to say and then tells you how you feel.
