Opill contraceptive approved for OTC sales, free for Medicaid recipients

  • EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA - Starting Thursday July 31, North Carolinians enrolled in Medicaid will be able to get an oral contraceptive pill over the counter at their local pharmacy.
    The medication is called Opill, and not only is it over the counter, but it will also be free of charge through North Carolina Medicaid.
