I try to turn Japanese lyrics into good English sounding lyrics, but they usually sound flat and not the way Japanese people write the English translations for lyrics. Is having flat straight forward lyrics a bad thing and I'm wondering how to make it sound more emotional/flow well together, aka not just rhyming all the time that it sounds like a poem you emailing in for English class yknow?
