Excellent demo! Fantastic playing and awesome tone!
Looks and sounds great! Another classy demo from a mag that just keeps getting better.
Thanks Brian!
Best reviews on the tube 👍👍
T486....a beast of a guitar...absolutely love mine....and looking forward to the SB59 GT on its way.
This is the very tone I've been wanting.
May the 4th be with you!
Sounds really good!!! What rig was in neural dsp for that unforgettable sound?
Greate demo of the Neural Quad Cortex - now could we hear what the Eastman sounds like?
great review ! the sound i am looking after. Any chance you would share the neural parameters ?
Wow such great feel/touch. Also I wish I could dial in reverb on my quad cortex like you. Are you using a spring and hall? Any post processing verb? The mixing and mastering is top notch also!
Thanks! I can't remember what the exact settings were but I'll dig into the preset and check!
@@GuitarDotCom Thanks - much appreciated! If it's easier you can just upload the preset to the cloud (maybe you don't want to do that just a thought). Either way new subscriber - great content!
Are these nitro? I thought they used "Truetone" catalyzed urethane finish, or on the "v" version (T59) they used an antique varnish with relic work, but stopped last summer because it was melting in the hot weather. They now use the Truetone on the T-486 and T-59, which is supposedly harder and thinner. The nitro Eastman used was very soft years ago, it may have gotten better, and I know they still make some guitars with nitro, but usually put an "N" in the model designation if so. The T59/TV AMB means truetone varnish amber. They are great guitars reguardless!
Is this preset available somewhere, thanks :)
The Goldburst finish on this reminds me of Larry Carlton's famous 335. It has that similar faded sunburst look. Great demo Chris!
Thanks!
I played Larry’s guitar a few years back. A fantastic guitar with LOTS of history. 🙂
try a T-186...solid woods-carved maple top with carved mahogany back and sides, no center block-just a small one under the bridge. Better yet, try a T-185 (15" body-comfy.)
Since 2021/22 Eastman stopped using nitrocellulose❗️
Did they? They stopped using the hand rubbed antique varnish of the type used on violins, because it was melting in the heat, plus it's softer and thicker, although some players say it feels and sounds better. If the truetone (catalyzed urethane?) finish is harder and thinner, that's what I want. As for nitro, their nitro used to be very soft, but supposedly got better over the years, didn't know they stopped using it too.
Don't ever demo a guitar using digital shit - we have no idea what the guitar sounds like. 0/10
you're talking out of your ass, friend
Haha isn’t streaming CZcams digital? Go to local shop to hear with bare ears and stop yappin
