MV Loredan - Part 1 - 4k

First video of our dives on the Loredan in August 2022.
On 10 April 1943, the MV Loredan left the port of Cagliari as part of the small convoy named “convoy of Torre delle Stelle” and protecting the Estella and Isonzo headed to La Maddalena archipelago.
Shortly after the departure, the convoy was spotted by the Britishsubmarine HMS Safari, which carried an attack as soon as they hit deeper water. The Loredan was most heavily armed and primary target for the sub. A torpedo ripped through from side to side of the hull and the ship sunk in a few seconds, taking with it its entire crew.
The wreck is mostly intact, except for the massive hole in the hull and lies on its starboard side on a sand bed by 67m.
We can't get enough of diving and exploring every passage of that wreck. With the scooter we can then proceed back to the shore 1km away to finish our deco on the Estella Wreck (10-12m).
