  • Quick overview of the new Boss SR Mag brine system. It has improved from the original Boss Snowrator and is a great option for those looking to hold a larger 40 gallons of brine. As long as the pump can hold up it is a great option if you run brine systems instead of salt.
Boss SR Mag and attachments purchased at Dark Horse Outfitters in Bozeman MT.

Thank you for putting this out, I have been trying to find info about the brine system since I plan to buy this setup next season and this is the perfect video, does boss give you any info on how much brine it puts out? (i.e. for pretreat use X setting, for post treat use X setting) or do you just have to figure it out yourself? I have tried contacting boss and they haven't given me any useful information. Also, how long did it take you to do those parking spots?

They have some info on their website but not specifically what mode gives you how much coverage. You’ll figure out when using it how much you’re going to need to put down based on the storm rolling in or that rolled through. Parking spots took no time at all. Probably 1-2 minutes for both areas. Given you run through a full tank in 7 minutes at full blast you can empty a tank pretty fast on a lot at full pressure. The mag having more speed is really nice to get it done quick. Didn’t have a camera on me to film it when I applied it on the lot. With those parking spots and front walk way I easily used 3/4 of a tank very quickly at full pressure and speed. I did use a lot more on the front walk.

@@AutoPilotMT Great! Thank you so much! After seeing your videos, it confirmed my decision to get one next season. How do you transport it, truck bed?

@craigschwent8698 I transport it on a flat bed trailer with my skid. I would need a really long ramp to get it into my truck bed and ramps get sketchy when it’s icy/wet.
