Lee Pace looks great in every role but those blue contacts and long blond hair make him devastatingly beautiful. No one else could have pulled off that role as well as he did. Well done!

Lee Pace as Thrandruil is stunningly gorgeous. Is more beautiful than Legolas.
Legolas is the "green leef", the young prince in his best life season; Thranduil has a different beauty. He is the strong King during his " maturity" (Elves don't become phisically old). I love Orlando as Legolas in LOTR (he was in his 20s, so he can really portraied a young Elf Prince with a kind hearth). In the Hobbit Orlando is 20 years older, but Legolas is supposed to be younger than in LOTR, so the effect on screen is "disturbing" and, of course, Thranduil looks more gorgeous than his son

I think I don´t only enjoy watching him (he's gorgeous) but I also love the way (I think) he realizes just how fantastic he looks. He's lika a Greek God or something. I can´t stop watching.
Hollywood should make a movie about what Thranduil was going through while Frodo and company were taking the ring to be destroyed. Only Thranduil's part in all that. Should make it soon so Lee Pace can play the part again.
