thataylaa Sephora is always doing that with their 'new' section, makes me nuts! I think it's the same one I used a few years back in a gray compact. I just can't get cream foundations to work for me - they sit on my skin like a bad habit. 😜
I was trained on CoverFxover 10 years ago and this was one of their first products introduced. It was made in Canada and inspired by patients of Sunnybrook Hospital (burns, rosacea, vitiligo) in conjunction with a dermatologist and Lee Graf (makeup artist). The pigment load is incredibly high compared to most foundations, 32 per cent compared to 5 or 6 per cent. Therefore, only using a small amount is sufficient or else it starts to look cakey and heavy feeling. This particular foundation is made for drier skin types, whereas their NaturalFx is better suited for oilier but also only has 15 per cent pigment load and personally a better foundation The range is made for those with sensitive skin without mineral oil, parabens, gluten and other inflammation causing ingredients. When it first came out, we were shown one of the best ways to use it is with a traditional foundation brush, not kabuki nor beauty blender type sponge. .I hope this helps :)

Thank you for this info. I need full coverage for my senior hyperpigmentation , and was recommended by the drug store clerk. I think this product is amazing, after trying many other brands and types. Cannot use small amount as mentioned. I too, have to swipe many times to put on one area, making this product goes fast and very expensive for a drug-store item. They could have redesigned the packaging, without the sponge/mirror part, that most people won't use. (for touch-up?) Hope this will reduce the cost and give us 'more' products.
I love it when you zoom in really close. It's so helpful to see exactly what you are talking about. No one else zooms right in and they say "as you can see" and I'm like no no I can't "see" it. You're too far away! So thank you girl!
i thought the foundation looked beautiful in the beginning compared to some others? she said it looked average and i was shook. for problem skin it looks pretty awesome
Alicia Grimes I agree with what you saw and have felt the same about other foundations and CZcamsrs. I've come to realize it's due to poor translation of what they are seeing and what is being picked up on camera under lights.

This foundation has actually been around for at least 5 years to my knowledge - it's actually the same formula as the CoverFX stick foundation you reviewed in your first 15 Days of Foundation series! Maybe it was featured in the new arrivals section of Sephora because of new shades added? :)
I really appreciate the macro shots of the foundation. Please keep them up! Obviously no one is staring that closely in public, but it's great to see how it actually sits on/in the skin.

Marissa Strong I actually love the Loreal Pro Glo too. It lasts a full wrk day and even tho my eyes water constantly (cold Canadian winter winds), it stays put. It's the only drug store one that works for my stubborn combo skin.
I have dry to normal skin and the tarte is deff not full coverage so I love the added coverage of the L'Oréal one and I figure in the summer when I tend to be more oily I can just the L'Oréal matte foundation instead haha try it!
Courtney Valicek yeah I'm not the type to add lots of layers to get full coverage when you can just buy a fuller coverage foundation haha but I like how it feels on my skin and the shade so I make it work
This is why I watch you! I love how honest you are, and you've seriously saved me from buying so many foundations. I have acne too, and I'm always down to try new foundations, but I'm a teacher and don't have lots of money to blow on high end foundations that say they're full coverage when they're not.

That CATRICE Glam & Doll Mascara is SOOOO GOOD! I've been using it for over 6 months now & totally hooked! You can definitely see how it made your own gorgeous lashes even more beautiful!

Also, I just wanted to add, I absolutely love the new camera and the really up close shots. For a beginner, like me, it's very helpful to actually see clearly what's happening to the foundation, if that makes sense. I've never seen anyone get that close with their camera, and it is so helpful! I wasn't sure what 'pilling' (sp?) looked like, and when you showed it up close, it was really helpful!

Yes!!!! Someone actually talking about that Catrice mascara!!! I have been on a hunt for a fab mascara and this has been one of the best....absolutely ZERO flaking and amazing volume, separation and holds a curl!

How the hell do you do a full face so freaking fast and beautiful? Even if you did a full glam eyeshadow look it never takes more than 30 minutes to finish off all your makeup, it takes me honest to God close to two hrs and it will never ever even come close to an eighth of how good yours looks. Talent you have so much talent.
I've been loving the lorac porefection foundation lately. it's not full coverage (buildable to a high medium, almost full) but it works very well for my skin tone, lasts amazingly without looking cakey & is perfect for everyday !! I have forehead acne mostly and a lot of texture and bumps everywhere else, as well as rosacea and it covers everything without covering TOO much to where it looks like I'm wearing something. I recommend trying it (not just you but anyone seeing this lol) as maybe a more natural, everyday foundation which is what I've been into since moving to Florida! I've been loving these reviews so far :)) love you xx

caseyajb03 It's a great company and foundation. The reason it's not widely talked about on CZcams is because their PR isn't very large. IMO, many content creators have gotten cheap and have started to review PR products rather than spending their money on something. To that detriment, it makes their channel both boring and predictable.
niitsitapi princess I always said if I become a millionaire I would be a beauty CZcams and review everything that isn't PR sent to others! There is so much more amazing makeup out there no one talks about!

I went to sephora and tried this foundation on, I felt the same way as you. It was super heavy on my face, took a while to put on, and overrall made me feel and look cake-facey. I first bought this probably like 4 years ago and I was obsessed with it. It's the only product that evened out my skin tone and worked with my dry skin., I recently tried too faced born this way foundation and have completely forgotten about cover fix.
I really appreciate that your intro isn't loud AF like some other CZcams channels. I mean I get why they do it to grab attention but it's extremely annoying because I hate sudden loud noises. I just thought I'd let you know I really appreciate that!

Gosh I love this series!! But while you might have rec'd a ton of requests for this foundation, I would never even try it knowing it's recommended for normal to dry skin. And with my oily skin? I know I'd look like all hell in no time flat. You are brave, girl!!!

This has been one of my HG foundations for a long, long time - I have lots of dry patches and on some days, lots of oil. This is amazing - you can touch it up easier than any other foundation I've ever used. It works best with a sponge. Sometimes I heat it a little with my blow dryer which helps it to apply easier.
This is one of my favorite foundations. I have oily skin, no acne but a broken capillary and some redness. I find it applies best with an Artis style brush. For such high coverage I think it looks very natural on me and lasts all day. I don't have any separation or breaking up. I don't use a primer under it. I find a lot of times primers do me more harm than good. I just use Tidal moisturizer under this one.

Cover FX Total Cover Cream and Natural Finish are best for dry. Their Powder foundation or BB Gel are best for oily skin. You might really like the BB Gel.

I went to sephora and tried this foundation on, I felt the same way as you. It was super heavy on my face, took a while to put on, and overrall made me feel and look cake-facey. Reallly wanted to get into it cause I love cover fx. Anyways, thank you so much for fifteen days of foundation, your vids make my nights! I can't wait untill you hit 1 million subscribers!

I first bought this probably like 4 years ago and I was obsessed with it. It's the only product that evened out my skin tone and worked with my dry skin., I recently tried too faced born this way foundation and have completely forgotten about cover fix.

Gosh I love this series!! But while you might have rec'd a ton of requests for this foundation, I would never even try it knowing it's recommended for normal to dry skin. And with my oily skin? I know I'd look like all hell in no time flat. You are brave, girl!!!

This has been one of my HG foundations for a long, long time - I have lots of dry patches and on some days, lots of oil. This is amazing - you can touch it up easier than any other foundation I've ever used. It works best with a sponge. Sometimes I heat it a little with my blow dryer which helps it to apply easier.

This is one of my favorite foundations. I have oily skin, no acne but a broken capillary and some redness. I find it applies best with an Artis style brush. For such high coverage I think it looks very natural on me and lasts all day. I don't have any separation or breaking up. I don't use a primer under it. I find a lot of times primers do me more harm than good. I just use Tidal moisturizer under this one.
I love cover fx. It covers my acne scars pretty good . Love the full coverage and how it matches my skin tone perfectly

Your check-ins are so realistic and accurate, and I genuinely get a good idea of how the product looks after hours of wear.
Other CZcamsrs like Tati do check-ins with blurring filters which just makes no sense ?? I mean I love Tati but I have a hard time getting a feel for the product when there's constantly a filter over it😂

Cover FX Total Cover Cream and Natural Finish are best for dry. Their Powder foundation or BB Gel are best for oily skin. You might really like the BB Gel.
