- Hey Guys :o)
Back in North Wales again!
This time we spend a 1 night wild camp at Ffynnon Llugwy ( Llugwy Spring) right at the foot of the well impressive Carneddau range.
No rain really for once which is always good!
Great little camp spot and fairlys easy to find from the road, easily reached within 2hrs
Thanks again for watching guys!

Hi Ant tiny tents large sacks why so little food looks great keep the vids coming
Found another great spot.... I'm off camping there just as soon as i can. Thanks for the inspiration.
Boy, does this video take me back! Me and four of my school mates camped at the same spot back in 1969 (Yes, 1969). We had just finished our O levels as 16 year olds, and were soon to embark on our working lives. This was our first serious backpacking/ wild camping trip and we loved every minute of it. Back then as you can probably imagine, the equipment was a lot more primitive than today. What added to the spice of the trip was the fact that the world was a lot more parochial then, and Wales did seem like a world away from Manchester. If I am not mistaken, the peak dominating the backdrop to this video is Carnedd Llewelyn, dwarfed only by about 30 meters or so by Snowdon itself. Anyhow, whatever, many thanks for posting the video.
Great vid Ant! Beautiful spot too…Thanks for taking us along! ATB Tim
Cheers Tim :o)
Oh that's a brilliant spot! Love it! :)
Cheers Rob :o)
Great stuff Ant! You seemed to get better weather this time. I agree with one of the other comments - you should get yourself a telescopic rod mate; frying tonight! Nice to see Kat again.
Lovely place is that, nice views. Enjoyed the vid, Thanks for sharing.

Another beauty bud .
Enjoying catching up with your vids Ant , Nice one
Great vid took me a moment to recognize where you was, iv never been that side. I use to work in ogwen cottage just down the road aways at the foot of the glyders. And the welsh word for the lake you was at is a cwm haha. Was suprised how clean the water was normally its a horrible brown colour. Travel tap seems pretty cool though. Look forward to seeing your next vid :)
Goll that is just incredible country! Thank you so much!
Its one of the best spots we've camped at yet bud thank you :o)
Lovely scenery
Cheers Mate :o)
Nice one! I love Snowdonia. This lake area reminds me of the one up Cadair Idris..also beautiful. I'm going to have to plan a Snowdonia trip soon now I've enjoyed your video. Atb...Donny.
Cheers Donny :o) i know that lake well...great place to camp...especially after all those bleedin steps to get up there!lol
cracking vid ant
Great vid mate, named our dog after the Tarns. 😁
Fabulous place mate. I would have took a little fishing rod, one of those telescopic jobs, would have been trout in those lakes. Apart from that perfect.
Thats a good idea mate! i might have a look for one thanks! :o) ATB
Hello buddy. Great video.... looks nice a peaceful location. Any changes of the name of area or postcode of the road so i can Google it. I would like to visit it very soon.
Regards
Never even knew that tarn existed! great vid ant, was up at Tryfan same time you were there, your right about the parking mate, its getting a bit dodgy!
Did you know...Those Welsh lakes are those that are mythically associated with King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake. (You see, There were actually two Arthurs and both were Romano/Britons, Welsh if you use the modern name for his descendents).
Good job guys, did Tryfan a couple of years ago, cracking hill !
Cheers bud, we did Tryfan a few years back too, but it was before i had my channel and i didnt film it...watch this space!haha! :o)
Hey man, great vid! A tip: put some cotton wool over the microphone to block the sound of the wind :)
ive been told that bud...and plasters seem to work well! i would have tried it but forgot to take one with me! ATB :o)
Beautiful spot. Hope the mothers enjoyed their wild daffs lol
Hi Ant. Can I ask what camcorder you are using for this? It seems to be good both for close up- 'selfies' and telephoto zooms.
I'll try that thing with the corners of the Akto see how i get on, a great spot.....i like camping at those sort of places,Great stuff Ant.
I think we will try and get down there Eddie!!!. Stunning!!!
Awesome video! I'm new to wild camping and that and i was wondering did you just go and camp there or did you ask somones permission?
Hi - another lovely vid. Thanks. But do I take it that you can drink the water from upland reservoirs / lakes without having to treat it? Just curious as carrying water is such a drag. And by the way, great to see a bit more of the lovely Cath.
Ill pass the message on :o)
I use a filter mate, its called a travel tap, it gets rid of the nastys and makes it safe to drink

You two know how to pick a nice spot for a camp :-)
I'm sure the "endless path" was a Roman road, after all didn't the Romans go to North Wales for their holidays just like everybody else??? :-)
Trust you Jim!lol Thank you very much bud, definitely going back again its a cracking spot!! :o) ATB
Always look forward to you and kats next trip out..you always seem to have a great time.
Take a look at these apps, one is called tomstrails, which is like a gps locator, but gives you altitude, location etc...handy to show us where you are lol
And the other app is moviepro..
Allows you to change recording resolution, and lots of other cool features.....tomstrails is free, not sure about moviepro,though..
ATB
Martin
Cheers Martin :o) ill take a look mate thank you!
Ant seems to have gone quiet..... shame. His videos are great
anyone else know which path/road it is ?
The road is actually an unclassified tarmacked track that leads up from the A5, Northward towards Ffynnon Llugwy not too far from Llyn Ogwen. Back in my day(see below post) it didn't actually exist. Anyhow, as irrelevant as this latter fact is, I suggest you access a web site called Maps4free and use your natural "savvy" to pinpoint its location.
Fucking awesome
Lol :o) thanks bud!
Greetings from New Zealand :) Snowdonia looks like Otago on a cloudy day, makes me want to shoot rabbits and plant trees
Greetings from the UK :o) Id love to visit NZ one day..its on my bucket list!lol :o)
You'd be most welcome :) Be sure to check out the Milford Sound trail or any other spot with old growth beech forest. That moss growing over everything is super beautiful. I grew up down the south part of the South Island in Fiordland. It rains a Lot, but the foliage makes up for it I think. Watch out for the changable weather though, I swear NZ kills you by being so pretty you're looking at the mountains and fall down a gully and Bam!, freezing rain on your Daypack n' shorts wearing ass :)
nice views what water bottle u using ?
Its called a Travel Tap bud...great bit of kit for the price :o)
what camera are you using?
Beautiful place, was your car ok?
Thanks bud :o)...it was yes! she lives to drive another day!haha!
Wind noise is "nobbut hellish" lad.
:¬(
don't stop pronouncing the welsh names please Ant, I find them really funny, I am welsh and the way you portray our beautiful country in your vids far outweighs the way you say the names of the places in welsh, keep em coming mate
haha! thank you buddy, means a lot that! im useless but i do want to learn them :o) thanks for watching matey :o)
1 "F" = V sound.
2 "FF" = F sound.
;¬)
Must be NORTH Wales, they're awkward buggers.
:¬(
Don't think ant made any money so gave up on you tube.good try though haha
Great vid mate, named our dog after the Tarns. 😁
