- On June 14th, 2018, in honor of the historic visit to Israel by Indonesia’s religious leader Sheikh Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf, Koolulam invited 1,000 people who had never met before to a special event at the Tower of David in Jerusalem, to sing one song, in three languages and in three-part vocal harmony. The event was produced in conjunction with the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem.Com.

I must say thay KH Yahya Cholil Staquf has made a quite good effect here. Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Unity in Diversity. When all his fellows in Indonesia criticized him, he went anyway. Hamas and Fatah condemned it, he turned his back. Maybe Indonesia will not have a diplomatic relation with Israel anytime soon. Our constitution clearly states that "...colonialism and imperialism must be wiped out from the earth for the sake of humanity and justice." But I hope we can unite as mankind.
