  • How to Make Soap with Fragrances that Accelerate Trace - Rose Clay Soap
    Hello Friends! Today I share with you my method for working with fragrance oils that accelerate trace or cause your soap batter to seize! The culprit is usually floral fragrance oils (like rose). It's a shame because these are some of the best fragrances! I've got some great news! Using them may be possible through my method.

    Hi Jerika, I came across your channel because I'm thinking about soap making, thank you for such informatve information that helps so many. I have a question, do you ever use a melt and pour soap base at all?? I saw it online and don't know the difference to that and how you make soap. Many thanks x

  • @vanislewestcoastlifestylet1146

    Hey Jerika! Love watching all your videos you offer some great tips and so generous in giving out your recipes, thank you so much! Just curious, would you do a water discount with a rose soap like this that is prone to seizing?

    • @JerikaZimmerman
      @JerikaZimmerman  Před 3 lety +2

      I have a very streamlined process and do the same water discount for all my soaps! Lol crazy I know but I don’t like soda ash and that’s the only thing that prevents it. I just work super fast (as you see)😂.

    So I wanted to focus on soap for mechanics to start out. I know one of my key ingredients will be olive oil for conditioning because mechanic hands crack terribly but need that exfoliation to break down oil. Do you have any recommendations for an oils or ones that have a healing agent to help cracked open cuts. Thank you so much for your amazing videos!
