This happened to me once, when we used to go to weddings (in Bhopal) and there was a coffee machine there which was usually branded espresso machine, so everyone started calling coffee from a machine, espresso and not just espresso, expresso...
So when i moved to Mumbai from a small town, they had all these options, and me being from a small town and used to think that coffee = espresso...i saw it on the menu and ordered it...and then what i got surprised me 😂 i somehow gulped it down.
The next time i visited a cafe in Mumbai i payed attention to what others were ordering, and this one guy ordered a cappuccino and received what looked like regular coffee...so then i learnt to order a cappuccino 😂😂

It is unreal how much I relate to this. My mother's favourite cuisine is Chinese too and this one time we ordered extra "gravy". Of course we couldn't finish it and my dad (being 'dad') ordered my brother and I to finish it. "4 bites mein ho jayega khatam. dono 2-2 bites le lo jaldi se." xD

i love how sacredly indians treat their food. they make a full meal out of various tiny portions in comparison to some of us from the other cultures. i am an afghan and the way we eat is ridiculous. so much food is prepared and you are forced to eat until you are sorry you were born and then so much of it gets wasted.

Hi Kenny, I enjoy your shows as I can connect with the topics being discussed. Ignore the comparisons and other crap that we Indians seem really good at. After all these years and innumerable achievements we Indians still think the west does it best. I have been to a lot of stand up comedy shows and watched stuff on tv, the really good comedians are those that can make the mundane and routine, hilarious. It is very easy to slag someone off or resort to stereotypes under the guise of comedy but true comedy takes intelligence and humor and most importantly courage to stand up in front of a room full of people and make them laugh. I believe all Indian stand up comedians are doing a great job, because as a race making fun of ourselves doesn't come naturally to us.
