For the most part, if you are young and have both the time and money for the necessary treatments, it will make a difference in the size of the pores on your face as you age. Genetics plays a role too. Thanks so much for sharing this information- love your channel.

Thank you so much for including that caveat! My pores were always small/unnoticeable but when I started tret, they’ve looked huge and are producing more oil than usual- this seems to be the opposite of what’s supposed to happen. I would’ve discontinued tret if not for all the other (positive) changes I’ve been seeing. But the pores thing is such a bummer. Glad to hear that it normalizes over time

Thank you, no one ever mentions that starting Retin A will actually make your pores worse for a long time, in my case. I’d say it took 2-3 years before I was happy with what retinoids had done to my pores but I’ve seen people online get phenomenal results in a much shorter span.

Camp reduction for sure ! Agree with oxygen wash, here’s a tip ,keep rubbing it in until the foam becomes clear(30-45 seconds) and the rinse off. And of course Retin A

I also think that you can shrink your pores, because i've seen it on my face. It's funny because we always recommend bha for enlarged pores but what made the biggest difference for me, alongside tretinoin, was AHAs. Using a high percentage (15%) of glycolic acid everyday really made my pores smaller.

I think LED light therapies really do help, but as you mentioned, you really need to find a quality product and the amount of energy delivered is key. FDA approval doesn't mean a product is any good, it just means it isn't harmful. I don't think they are particularly effective for scars, but acne and fine lines, absolutely.
