It Charges your body with static electricity and you can really move small objects from a small distance and even deflect a small stream of water from a sink! Sorry to say, but I think you were moving the aluminum foil with the air pushed from your hand movement.

My string always keeps hitting the top of the wand when doing lines. What can i do about that?
It could be a couple of things, but try to adjust your hand positioning!
