I was so happy that Watts wins Keith’s Heart in the end miss Amanda Jones was actually nice all along.this movie brings me to tears every time I watch it
The chemistry between Watts, Keith, and Amanda were off the charts to make this move a JH classic. I'm pretty sure they all loved acting it out! And as for Mary Stuart Masterson, she hasn't had a better role as yet for the longest time. Watts 4 Keith Forever! ;-)
Keith was either blind or stupid when it came to Watts.. Or maybe he knew but had to put her on hold to be with Amanda so everyone would be cool with him.. But gotta hand it too watts she made sure she kissed him first talk about smart

Guess how I found this...I remember the line and the fact that she was a tomboy and then hit google lol...I remember I must have been 6 - 8 years old when I saw the movie and felt so connected to the characters...especially the girl...I think she's the one who made me like quiet simple girls...it was made before I was born btw
John Hughes captured the 80's perfectly, but really humans don't change. Each generation is the same growing up I think, in regards to first loves and romance. I'm 52 and this movie came out when I was a freshman/sophomore in college.
@@perozzo123 Si.

De la época de Elvis, " I can't help falling in love with you". L

Eric was the 80's, such an underrated actor...one of the most gorgeous faces
SapphirefromOz!! !!!! I agree- i still love him!!

There will never be another John Hughes ❤️
This scene always makes me cry 😢
Watts, some kind of wonderful.
Eric Stoltz and Aiden Quinn are two of the most neglected actors. Eric is just gorgeous.
He was adequate in the role of Keith….but MSM is 1,000 more believable as Watts
@@cbennett196631 They're both believable. Lea was the one who was miscast as the bombshell.
The 80s what a time.
I originally saw this movie in 1990. Loved it then and still love it today!

Saw it in (89) when I was 7 years old with my older brother and sister loved it ever since..
Stoltz sounds just like Tobey Maguire and gives the same kind of performance.
Tender love story! Love it. Sigh 😌
Mary Stuart Masterson..... Beautyfull Woman
Great soundtrack (to match the movie).
