Cindy photographed and I was filming the worlds smallest birds while they were summering in Canada on their migration. All of the birds were wild coming and going at will.
Great Work of Arts ! Awesome filming ! Beautiful & Lovely ! Thank You for sharing with us all such lovely nature of the Humming bird World :-) Blessings Always, Michael
@homembomressurge I just watched all 18 and WOW!!!! Amazing footage! I've always wanted to see them nest and hatch and all and you captured it all!!! BRAVO!!
I love the variety of them in this video. Where I live we only have the ruby-throated ones, and while they're pretty, they don't measure up in beauty as some of the ones here.
@homembomressurge - I also checked out one of your vids, I love how the chicks stretch their wings and practice flapping their wings while the parents are away, but play the cute fluffy 'feed me' routine when the parents return! You are lucky to have such amazing wildlife so close by.
@homembomressurge - That bit immediately below their beak is called a chin, and below that is their throat (I'm not mocking you, who would think a bird had a chin!) Some people call the area including the chin, throat and cheeks (technically the cheeks are called ear coverts) of a bird a 'bib'. I think this term comes from the bibs we tie around babies necks to catch spilled food, which is still a bit odd, we don't tie bibs over babies chins and ears, though it may be less messy if we did...
These animals are so amazing, but I feel sorry for them, because they have the burden of having to constantly find food or else they starve to death. We can go a few hours without food, but hummingbirds can't. It's because of their fast metabolism, but this is nature's way.
Job 12:7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Job 12:8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Job 12:9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
birds are one of the most beautiful animals in the world IMO.

@DorianGabriello actually, the word "gay" means happy...
@vinggert How does a finely tuned bird show anything to do with the existence of god? Infact, it is showing evolution at its finest.
es muy lindo pero seria mejor sin el alimentador falso no necesitan hay muchas flores
why Hummingbird's . . . It should be Hummingbirds
Yeah, and some people say that god does not exist....
