You’re absolutely right. It’s better to just avoid that road altogether. Flirting is fun and can go too far before you know it. Also, there really is a such thing as an emotional affair. They’re not just physical. An emotional affair can be hurtful and can wreck a relationship and a physical one can for sure. Everyone gets hurt and it destroys families.

The DP was technically on the books at the time, but was on its way out per governor. He took deal because he didn’t want details in a trial….how bad that would’ve made him look. No woman would’ve ever been good enough for Cindy. Even now behind bars…..they still aren’t. CW needed the adoration from mom and his wife. He did nothing to help…he liked them fighting over him. He still probably hasn’t told mom what he did and he won’t….he’ll stay perfect in her eyes. She can’t look bad by what he did….imo…so she stays in denial.

I think because we love our children so much, it’s sometimes hard for parents to see the bad/ugly in their children. I think it would be very difficult to accept that the child that you loved and raised is a bad/evil person or psychopath.

For the people on the internet who like to diss Shanann because she wasn't a perfect wife and innuendo that this was deserved in some way, what exactly did the kids do to deserve it? Nothing. Neither did Shanann. She was human, not perfect, and she was mostly good, just like Chris was, despite his faults (until he did this). She clearly loved Chris and the kids, and was trying hard to save her marriage (he wasn't). She could have been the worst wife in the world but it never justifies something like this.
