This message was a blessing 🙏🏾 I read an article two years ago about praying in tongues for 1,000 hours . Of course over time and progressively ( ex. 1/3 hours a day). Well, it will be two years in May since I started that process and I’m currently at 577 hours 🙏🏾 I have seen God move mountains in my live over the last two years . My wife and I purchased our first home , left a dead church , and I’ve had several visitations from the Lord ! I encourage every believer to pray in the Spirit and go to the next level spiritually ! There is a difference between the gift of speaking in tongues and speaking in tongues as the initial evidence that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit and the " born again" believers spiritual prayer language.

Im 63. I was raised in a church that didnt believe in the gifts of the Spirit or speaking in tongues. I got born again in a service at an Assemblies of God when I was 22 yrs. 2 weeks later at home alone in my bedroom, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit while just praising and thanking God. It was like nothing Ive ever experienced in this life. It was a direct connection between myself and God. It was like a beam of light came down from heaven right through the roof down upon me. All at once my language went from normal to a unknown language. I knew that I knew it was the real thing from the Lord. I love praying in tongues, and do it most of my prayer time. So thankful for Gods wonderful gifts. I also at times give messages, and or interpretations in tongues to edify the church.
Good day the way you said it's how it happened to me also this year as I was praising and worshiping my own language changed quickly to an unknown language that is just supernatural.
Sometimes, when I start to pray in English, I feel the urge to go into tongues. And the Lord said to me when you pray for healing for a person, speak in tongues. So I start in English and end with tongues.
Before you prav in tongues , take the time to rebuke Satan , because he doesn`t want you too , if you hear any negatitivety in your mind , Know who it`s coming from ,, . when you speak in tongues , you kind of shut off your mind , and just yeald him your tongue ,as you do the holy spirit will fill your mouth with a new utterance . just like those old water pump of old ,pump that handle ,it`s your faith .

My son was ready to die science had come to the end ,there was no hope. That night befor his last operation I fell on my face and prayed in the spirit all night long. The next day thay did the operation and it was no good and he died and thay brought us to the morning room to pronounce his death and what happened next is GOD showed up a said he’s not dead he,s alive and raised him from the dead he was 8years old born with his uperintestents on the the out side. This was nov 1980 he was strapped to the bed for the first 3 years ,of his life not allowed to do nothing he was on hiperall abut bypas for 8 years his mom and me took car of him at home doing hiperall It was 8 years of hell but I stoped it with the holy tungs of GOD and he whent home never to come back to that hell. He’s now 39 years old it’s a miracle with out GOD non of this would be possible without praying in the spirit ,the lord GOD is the best amenm

You are right! No outward sign of the Spirits inward presence is under more attack than speaking in "tongues".Why? Because it's the initial evidence that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit, in every instance.
No he doesnt. He fights to keep people from recieving. Just keep praying and asking and yielding. Just praise God and thank Him from your heart, thats how I received at home with just myself and Jesus.
I read one day that Gloria Kopeland said she prays in the spirit for an hour everyday. I had never heard about it, so I tried it that night. I was doing 3 years in a correctional facility so I had plenty of time in my cell alone. I did it for about 30 minutes. It felt weird at first but I persisted. It was about 2am and I fell asleep shortly after. At 6am the sound of breakfast trays woke me up. However, my eyes opened but I could not move. I couldn’t even talk. I could see directly in front of me there was a very scary face with sharp teeth mocking me speaking in tongues! I was TERRIFIED because I couldn’t move. He was right there. All I could do was think JESUS! This lasted about 20 seconds, then he began to fade away. I could start to see through the face. I know now that this was the spirit of fear sent to scare me, which worked because it took me years to do it again. And this message confirms that. It’s a weapon and its very effective. God help me to be consistent. All I want is YOU!

Hi Lisa. Please allow me to share. Every believer is filled(indwelled) with the Holy Spirit the moment that they become saved- Ephesians 1:13 ( And you were also included in Christ when you heard the message of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit). The evidence of having the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. If someone can't speak in tongues yet, they still have the Holy Spirit. The ability to speak in tongues is there for every believer - see John 7:38. Now speaking in tongues is extremely beneficial and I believe important. You expressed one of those reasons- to edify or to build up/strengthen ourselves. It opens us up to be able to hear the Lord speak to us more clearly. Also the Word tells us that sometimes we dont know what or how to pray for a certain thing so the Spirit will make intercession for us by speaking through us to the Lord. Now you mentioned about interpretation. Not every believer has this ability or gift. There are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12 7-11) and the Lord gives to each believer any one or more of the gifts he chooses to give though Paul the Apostle says in 1 Corinthians 12:31 "now eagerly desire the greater gifts, having love as the basis/foundation in order for these gifts to be effective). Two of the gifts are 1. different(divers) kinds of tongues and 2. Interpretation of tongues. I have the gift of different tongues. How do I know? One minute the tongues I speak sound like I am from Asia (whether Japanese or Chinese I am not sure). Then within the same breathe it sounds like I am speaking in an African dialect. Once after all night prayer at church my pastor came to me and said I sounded like I was speaking Hindi. I dont know any of these languages. Lastly, the interpretation of tongues is for the edification of the church. So for example if during a time of prayer at church someone speaks in tongues, there should be someone present who can interpret what has been said...and that could be the person themselves if they have that gift or anyone else who has that gift. As for the gospel message at the end it has some problems among which are the call to repentance without definition thereof and the altar call which accomplishes nothing.

This was nov 1980 he was strapped to the bed for the first 3 years ,of his life not allowed to do nothing he was on hiperall abut bypas for 8 years his mom and me took car of him at home doing hiperall
It was 8 years of hell but I stoped it with the holy tungs of GOD and he whent home never to come back to that hell. He’s now 39 years old it’s a miracle with out GOD non of this would be possible without praying in the spirit ,the lord GOD is the best amenm

You are right! No outward sign of the Spirits inward presence is under more attack than speaking in "tongues".Why? Because it's the initial evidence that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit, in every instance.
No he doesnt. He fights to keep people from recieving. Just keep praying and asking and yielding. Just praise God and thank Him from your heart, thats how I received at home with just myself and Jesus.

I read one day that Gloria Kopeland said she prays in the spirit for an hour everyday. I had never heard about it, so I tried it that night. I was doing 3 years in a correctional facility so I had plenty of time in my cell alone. I did it for about 30 minutes. It felt weird at first but I persisted. It was about 2am and I fell asleep shortly after. At 6am the sound of breakfast trays woke me up. However, my eyes opened but I could not move. I couldn’t even talk.
I could see directly in front of me there was a very scary face with sharp teeth mocking me speaking in tongues! I was TERRIFIED because I couldn’t move. He was right there. All I could do was think JESUS! This lasted about 20 seconds, then he began to fade away. I could start to see through the face.
I know now that this was the spirit of fear sent to scare me, which worked because it took me years to do it again. And this message confirms that. It’s a weapon and its very effective. God help me to be consistent. All I want is YOU!

Thank u so much for your Testimony, The enemy don't want us to Pray in tounges.. On Wednesday I couldn't sleep after I prayed in tounges the spirit of Death visited me, I saw a spirit of my mom which she died 5years ago, she was sitting at the end of my bed, And when I was starting to sleep something jumped 3times or 2times on my stomach then after that I started praying in tounges a little and I called the name of Jesus then it felt better but I couldn't sleep the whole night I think I slept 3 to 4am..
I couldn't understand because it was like something is trying to plant a negative thought on my mind about Praying in tounges, But normally during the day I pray in tounges so the Feeling or the spirit didn't come back instead I got stronger

I have been praying in tounges and healing with tounges since I was young but religion never resonated with me only God I've always felt God with me i also sing in the spirit.
I always thought praying in tongue was edyfing yourself if you didnt know how to interpit therefore you should not pray in tongue . This was so enlightening...because I did receive the gift of tongue 22 years ago...I want the power God I want to see the super natural I want to be His vessel

Hi Lisa. Please allow me to share. Every believer is filled(indwelled) with the Holy Spirit the moment that they become saved- Ephesians 1:13 ( And you were also included in Christ when you heard the message of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit). The evidence of having the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. If someone can't speak in tongues yet, they still have the Holy Spirit. The ability to speak in tongues is there for every believer - see John 7:38. Now speaking in tongues is extremely beneficial and I believe important. You expressed one of those reasons- to edify or to build up/strengthen ourselves. It opens us up to be able to hear the Lord speak to us more clearly. Also the Word tells us that sometimes we dont know what or how to pray for a certain thing so the Spirit will make intercession for us by speaking through us to the Lord. Now you mentioned about interpretation. Not every believer has this ability or gift. There are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12 7-11) and the Lord gives to each believer any one or more of the gifts he chooses to give though Paul the Apostle says in 1 Corinthians 12:31 "now eagerly desire the greater gifts, having love as the basis/foundation in order for these gifts to be effective). Two of the gifts are 1. different(divers) kinds of tongues and 2. Interpretation of tongues. I have the gift of different tongues. How do I know? One minute the tongues I speak sound like I am from Asia (whether Japanese or Chinese I am not sure). Then within the same breathe it sounds like I am speaking in an African dialect. Once after all night prayer at church my pastor came to me and said I sounded like I was speaking Hindi. I dont know any of these languages. Lastly, the interpretation of tongues is for the edification of the church. So for example if during a time of prayer at church someone speaks in tongues, there should be someone present who can interpret what has been said...and that could be the person themselves if they have that gift or anyone else who has that gift. @44:53 Now you take that home & when you get there in your prayer time you read it because that word is for you. HUH? The Bible says bear one another's burdens & so fulfill the law of Christ. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those that weep. How cruel this is. That word is for you. If God is calling you to do something that challenges your faith or power or ability then who do you have to help you with your burden? if God gave you an unconditional personal promise why cannot you share it with another? No one tests the word another gets. If it is a prophesy let two or three other's judge. This accomplishes nothing. We are a body not a bunch of different bacteria. Go home people and go back to your little houses and dream your dreams & bear your burdens. Do not discuss this. Do not test this. Do not reach out to bear one another's burdens. As for the pastor I hope he gets his wish that the hidden agendas in the cities get exposed. In order to do this you also have to cut through the rhetorical veils. As for the gospel message at the end it has some problems among which are the call to repentance without definition thereof and the altar call which accomplishes nothing.

Vernon what hes meaning is when u pray in tongues the holy spirit changes the atmosphere. Its real. Been speaking in tongues for a few years . changed me ...changed my life . God JEHOVAH gave us this gift for a reason

You must ask and then tarry (wait) for the Holy Spirit. It can not be activated and deactivated within you by man. You will know when the Holy Spirit is in you. You will know when you are speaking in tongues. It can not be turned on and off like a faucet. It just flows uncontrollably in the supernatural. May God be with you all for we are in the last days. Pray for discernment because false prophets are on the rise.
And this is a prime example of one right here! How in the hell can speaking in tongues can be taught?
