In this video, we will provide an overview of the Massachusetts Bay Colony from its inception in 1629 through to the revocation of its charter in 1691. We’ll examine how the colony functioned on a day to day basis and its contentious relationship with the English crown.

Mathew Craddock was the first Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Company. He owned much of the land and collected on its business. He never set foot on North America because of this in 1639 John Winthrop was allowed to be elected to be the Governor of the Company and Colony though Craddock's interests remained.

I just found out less than a month ago that my 8th grandfather is Edward Rawson And my 7th great-grandfather is Grindle Rawson
On my fathers side.. But due to my grandmother "Agnas Gertrude Rawson" committing social security fraud all of her children were last named Renneberg Though none of her 7 children real fathers had that last name..
