I remember Luke saying he would put anyone wanting to adopt Roscoe through a challenging interview..I think he decided no one was as qualified (and in love) as he and the family are! I’m so relieved he made this decision 💕
When Luke was explaining how Freddo and Roscoe had made positions for themselves as guard duty, one at the gate, one at the door, i felt Roscoe might stay. Smart dogs create jobs for themselves, like the shepherds did as plate cleaners...lol

People ask how I can sit & watch these videos - for me if I’ve had a bad day or life isn’t going to plan - it’s like snuggling down with a big cuddly blanket and this peace descends down on me and the day becomes brighter. Off course it got a WHOLE lot brighter today when Rosco got his adoption papers - YIPEE.
These videos have helped my mental health immeasurably. Should be part of everybody's self care regime.
Sharon, how could any dog (and Kitty Rose) lover not sit and watch these videos? They are the highlight of my day and they have definitely improved my overall mental health. They totally melt my grumpiness if I am in a bad mood or under stress.

Rosco is so in love and devoted to Luke. I can't imagine Luke ever letting him leave the Farm Pack. I wrote the comment before the announcement of Rosco's💘 adoption.

I saw that look in Luke’s eyes a few weeks ago. His pride and love for Roscoe was so obvious. Im so happy for him. And the family. He’ll be so loyal.
I’ve felt Luke was down for a few weeks because of the prospect of putting Roscoe up for adoption. Hundreds of hours of work training, building a bond, seeing Roscoe feel so fulfilled belonging somewhere, creating a role for himself and his pure joy in the pool. It reminded me of Sam crying over sending Yoyo back to the shelter. Sometimes you just go with your gut. Well done, Evans! ❤️

For Rosco to be such a big, strong protector, he has the best table manners...so gentle when taking food.
I adore this dog , He could be our Big Boys Brother we, love him so much we rescued him 2 years ago, because no none wanted him anymore as he was to old to hunt pigs.

@@bsusie1 Thank you so much I believe all old dogs should have a soft place to rest until their last breath - We adore our senior dog even with all his upsetting history just makes us love him more. My old cat lived till 23 years old. he was my Soul Cat. Animals deserve so much love.💖💖
Sam, Luke - I know you both work so hard to make a video like this possible and because of this, it is so wonderful to see you and the pack in chill mode. There wasn't a dog there with a care in the world. Even busy bee Nevaeh spent time relaxing, and Chance was really in tune with both Luke & the pack. Seeing three alpha males - Chance, Rosco & Freddo all sniffing grass within a metre of each other was awesome. Congrats Rosco, your dream has come true. The fact that you didn't try & eat Miss K R when introduced probably sealed the deal for you. Freddo, my darling boy, don't worry Luke has an infinite amount of doggy love to share & he will never give your share of it to Rosco. Besides, Aunty Sam will always make sure your interests are front & centre. You stole a piece of her heart many months ago with your pool rescue of Elle Amazing acts are never forgotten. Give Kitty Rose a cuddle from me. We lost our 13 year small black cat to a road traffic accident last week. We live in a rural area, we had never seen her cross the road. Surrounded by woodland and fields. At 13 she still charged around teasing our dogs. One dog used to stomp like a matador in front of her and she would run at him like a bull. I’m a blubbering mess right now. As Queen Elizabeth said “Grief is the price we pay for love”.

You never know what tomorrow brings. Almost lost a dog to stomach bloat earlier this year. People who own larger breeds please read about it. You could save your dogs life.

He sure does. It was so sweet when Luke told Rosco he was saying, Freddo bounced right in there as if to say, Yay, my best friend gets to stay! So precious.
Quite apart from everything else I find it’s truly amazing that Luke and Sam can still make time for their version of a date night, tea and biscuits with the dogs, it says a lot about their relationship. Fantastic…it made my day.

I thought the same about Roscoe staying because of his guarding and that he could take over from Freddo given that he is an old boy, but besides all that Roscoe would need a very very special someone to take him on out in the real world, same as Naveah and Chance will.
When you went to get Chance today, I noticed that he had a close group of “graduates” waiting for him at the door cheering him on. Yo-yo, Violet, Roscoe, & Neveah were constantly by his side reassuring him that he is really close to the finish line. They all recognize the progress he’s made and recognize the process and what comes next. He’s got his own little hype squad. So amazing to watch. ❤️

Kitty Rose is so adorable I guess she thinks she's a dog too. Like Cutie Pie has never Known she's a little dog not a big dog. Lol ea and every dog on the farm is just like every child all different personalities and toy likes...the best 4 legged children n the world are at the Farm.

Barnie is the quietest sweetest layed back boy. He is just always quietly there, nevr obtrusive and doesn't seek alot of attention he's such a peaceful one.
I ALWAYS KNEW THAT ROSCOE WOULD B AN EVANS!!! From day one he was so UNUSUAL n everyway his spirit, his personality, his looks and attitude. ALWAYS felt from the beginning Luke would pick Roscoe to b an Evans. Rosco is n training from Freddo to guard the family well. But it's not his turn yet for a long time we hope. Freddo the guard master.
Luke has been dropping little hints that Roscoe might be permanent. I kept watching their relationship grow and thought if it were me I wouldn't be able to let him go. All of that work and to watch that dog let go of his past is just amazing. What I have learned, and continue to learn, from watching these videos reinforces the idea that you can teach a old dog new tricks, but there is a lot of work and commitment required. As a person who always adopts, and mostly adult dogs, this is inspirational. Thank you for the teaching and allowing us to witness the love you have for all creatures, two and four legged!!

So much for my bit of 75 year old advice about keeping those you love close. It’s been so obvious Luke has been struggling with giving up Roscoe and Roscoe is devoted to Luke and the family. At least Uncle Luke didn’t have to cry to keep Roscoe (although he might have) like Auntie Sam did with Yoyo. You were worried about one more back then?? ❤️❤️

Thrilled for Roscoe. Hearing Luke talk yesterday about his unique role in the pack and how he has created this himself, I thought how impossible it would have been to find a suitable home. How you manage these rescue dogs emotionally is going to be an ongoing process for you.
As Uncle Luke cuddled Roscoe I said out loud Roscoe so belongs on the farm and the next thing was Uncle Luke saying "you're staying here forever mate"...yay!!! Farm and family protectors Freddie and Roscoe 💕 How far those two have come and Shadow still amazes me. No question Chance will soon get there ❤

Always remember Sam saying Dougie had the perfect cinnamon roll about a year before Cutie Pie arrived. If theyre together looking down on them you can see distinct difference between their cute tails. Dougie with the dummy will always stay in my memory banks too.

He's an awesome dog and he will just keep on giving and giving now you've given him the chance to be loved, trusted and valued alongside the other pack members. His guarding instincts come naturally to him now he's found his place. I can just imagine Freddo's instructions sounding something like...."I'll take care of the gates, Roscoe you take care of the house, shepherds you do lookout from that big rock by the woods... Intruders? Don't even think about it! You got to get past us first and we got our very own SWAT team!!" 😁😁

Roscoe, congratulations! He and Freddo make the best security team. No one is messing with the family or farm with those two on duty.
So happy for Roscoe!!!! I was beginning to sense that he might be another 'foster fail' and I was secretly keeping my fingers crossed that he was. I wish all the dogs could stay who have had a taste of life on the Farm, but I know that's not possible. But I don't think I could have handled it if Roscoe was adopted out because he has had the journey of a lifetime on the Farm, and he pays it back everyday with his love and devotion to it and all of those who played a part in his rehabilitation.
Apart from working so hard to be the best dog for Luke and Sam, it would have been pretty impossible to find a home for Rosco that fulfills him as much as the Farm does. He and Freddo are such wonderful overseers of the Farm and family. The best news. There's a huge, beautiful paw print on your pants Sam 🥰 Whoever left that there for you says 'you're mine' 😍 Gorgeous moments but a question. Yo Yo's there but is Nike okay, as she doesn't seem to be 🥰

She was there on Therapy Pack Wednesday so maybe YoYo is staying on for some training or socialisation revision - either way he seems very happy about it.

Yah, it was chopper. It was funny, when Wolfie stood up from sitting in the mud puddle, the back of his diaper looked the same as the back of Luke's shorts after he stood up from sitting in the wet paddock with the dogs.

Yes, Shadow's new life is a miracle. What a happy story. Seems like animals from really hard background become such grateful and caring animals. We've had cats from rough background become the nurturers and protectors of family. It's such a great feeling to help them, and then see them give back.

I usually will read a few comments while watching the videos but after reading Sam's description I thought "ok big announcement " do not read any comments. While watching the video and could see Luke loving on Roscoe more than usual I thought this is it. I literally sucked in air and whooped when Luke said"im calling it babe". Thank you,thank you,thank you for keeping him. He is such a BIG"part of the pack and is so attached to Luke.

As an Aussie I find the humour in the name Chopper (Uncle Chop Chop) 🤣and Tank and being such gentle loving dogs...so with you there Luke! I love all of the dogs and feel I know them all and their personalities.....but I have to admit I have had a very soft spot for Chance since the get go....I love his face, his need for love and his need to please. I'd adopt him tomorrow if I was in a position to do so. Keep going Chancey boy...you are so close to passing the highest degree possible of doggy behaviour and I want to be hear for your graduation mate! xxoo

Rosco the 'Tiger' I knew he was not going anywhere his devotion to his family is amazing and he has earned his place on The Farm. I am delighted for all of you. I'm so very happy for Roscoe - he's a very special pup. Roscoe's transformation has been extraordinary. His will to thrive and change is an example for us all. After all he's been through, to now have a place, a role, and humans who love him is a true gift. But then again, as I gaze at all your pups - they are all truly special. And they are all - every last one of them - uniquely loved. 14 and counting.... PS: I envy you having all these wonderful dogs to love! I have 2 and would love more!

He needed...because of his past life. And one could see the love and trust between them. No one else would be worthy of being TOP DOG as Luke rightfully is...Roscoe's always touching him, guarding the family vs the gate...this 'was meant to be'...so exciting!!
