So, I'm from here, but do cook and travel, etc. It's Feb.5, so I've got crawfish on my mind. I often watch crawfish boils on CZcams, and they're usually showing a recipe. I was hoping to find a representation of the actual event, like one I would host or attend. I am concerned about the image people take away from CZcams videos.... This is a good representation of the day-long family-hosted boil. Thanks, y'all.

How did it come out? I’m used to the super thick Cajun buttery boil that don’t look like water. This looks great regardless, never had it with pineapple. I like to try

Thank you for watching! This is the way we do it in Louisiana. The water is well seasoned so you don't need to coat the crawfish with the thick buttery sauce which gives you messy hands. Pineapple is a great addition to the boil.
