  • Yes, you can do it yourself, Let me show you how! These evo-one units are fun to expand on and do all kinds of cool stuff. Today I am utilizing the 3 pin expansion port to add ina custom sensor to enhance my evo-one security functions a little.

I used the 3 wire plug in from Evo-One. I bought JST-XH 2S Wire from Amazon. the Evo-One is Ground-Trigger_Power....so my plug is Red-Yellow_Black. YES, That means the Red is the Ground and the Black is the Power. I wired to a Dual Zone DEI ...Green and Blue wired together with Yellow trigger...WORKS PERFECT ..Thanks for the video. No separate wiring needed.

Could this work with a dual zone shock plus glass break sensor like the omega au85tn? My installer was optimistic that it could but once the system was armed it was immediately triggered without fail. What are we missing?

I wired mine exactly they you did,but it only gives me warn away sound, but would not trigger the alarm at all no matter if I adjust sensitivity to max, also even hit the body of the car it just gives warning sound but never goes off.

I'd really want a fortin but the lack of a good 2 way remote that beeps or vibrate to indicate alarm going off is a deal breaker
