zion had his healthiest season this year playing 70 games, + lost a pretty big amount of weight (around 25 pounds if i remember exactly) and he started playing better as the season progressed, it might be the biased pelicans fan in me talking but i think zion is gonna be on the right path moving forward

Spurs are literally the only team holding themselves from Trae Young.
Spurs have the hawks by the balls, if they wanna tank they gotta trade trae to the spurs to get their picks back. but they also made themselves a lot weaker by trading away DJ, so these picks are valuable. which means the spurs can lowball the hawks for trae (which i'm sure they have been), if the hawks refuse it's fine, spurs have 4 valuable picks incoming to them from the hawks on top of their own, starting next season which is a stacked class. so yeah spurs are gonna hold as long as the hawks refuse their lowball offers for trae young

Wemby and Trae would not fit why do people assume just cus wemby is big he needs to dunk the ball all the time, his easiest shot is a 3 which he can make on high volume and is way less stress on his body. Trae hurts that cus he can't move off ball something u have to do already to play with wemby it's why the spurs were actually a better offense without him playing most of the year

The Spurs have no reason to trade with the Hawks, as long as they have their 2025 pick. Hawks failure = Spurs success. The Spurs aren't that high on small point guards like Trey. I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs go ahead and start Stephon Castle at pg. Although, I think its likely that they sign a pg in free agency.

The Pelicans should trade for Jarret Allen. Ingram will provide size and scoring on the wing, and Allen gives New Orleans a Center that can be in their future plans. BI can be second star D Mitch has missed for most of his career and it will allow Mobley to play his natural position as a center.

Russell is a solid starting guard, the 2029 pick is possibly a top 3 pick but only 1 first rounder, and JHS will not be anything more than a bench player from what we’ve seen. That doesn’t sound better than what the Hawks just got (maybe equal). If I had to forecast, the Lakers in 2031 could be in the growth phase of their next rebuild. Hawks get a potential Top 10 pick or the pick goes back to the Lakers if LA sucks. Add that 31’ pick in, and it’s good.
