Not to much of a bargain anymore. Before the pandemic you could get a 350z with 80k miles or so for maybe 7k. RN the clapped out 120k miles 350z’s are going for $10,000+. No thanks I’ll try to wait to not get bro taxed. If the market doesn’t reverse around, I guess I won’t be getting one soon..

Been driving Miatas for the past 5 years. Just got an 08 mt and I’m so much happier with the Z. Has power to spare. Sounds awesome and has working cup holders lol. Doubt I’ll get another Miata. The Z is that good

I came from a 06 G35 coupe auto to a 08 350z and besides the luxury the Z is what I love ti drive. My infiniti just collected dust in the garage because the fun factor just wasnt there... maybe if it was manual 🤔

It’s a fun vehicle to drive! I recommend it wholeheartedly! They’re a great ride, have excellent handling characteristics, seats that seem to hug your body and are pretty good on gas too! Yes, there they don’t have a lot of luggage space, but you can buy a 2-Piece Roadtrip Fitted Luggage Bags for the Nissan 350Z. Having cruise control is a definite plus if you are going out on a long trip! Life is a journey! Enjoy your ride!

I have a 350z and I can agree with everything especially the fun factor I drive so much more since I own this car 😅
I've owned a lot of cars. From a BRZ to a Corvette to an Audi TT to a new Camaro SS and many others. The 350z isn't the fastest car out there, but its such a blast to drive. The power is decent and fun tho, love this car. For what you can buy them for now and the style and driving experience it delivers, I dont know if it can be beat.
I bought my 07 11 years ago and love it .I had my dad drive me to get it. We had to drive 400 miles to get it.It was worth it.I will tell you this it is not a long trip car the seats are too hard for long trips.
I daily drive a 350z. Gas price here is 2.10 euro p/l. Dont care about it at all. My z gives me a smile every day. Worth it.

In terms of cruise control, I have never used it before LOL. I remember driving 8 hours straight, no cruise control. You kind of get used to it

350z is a fine daily. However Nissan designed it for streetability. Many owners add track or performance mods, which typically makes it unstreetable. Trust your engineers.

Storage space is seriously not an issue in the 350z, pretty much anyone that doesn't have a van, bug suv or truck will have to hire moving services when it comes to dressers

Any Z buyer has to make sure they get the model w an LSD. The base model did not have it and it wouldn't be the same without limited slip differential.

How many miles ?
I had a 2006 350. It did well in Texas but when I moved to Indiana it was difficult because of the snow. Rear wheel drive is terrible in the snow, drove it for 2 years than sold it because I had my first newborn and needed more room, but I miss that car!

You must love doing skids if your tires only last you year and half, I've been daily driving my 6 speed 350 for nearly 3 years now and still have 50% tread on the rear 70% front.
i drive a 95 5 speed honda civic and my tires are bald as hell. never burn out or anything like that lol. i feel bad taking it past 4000 rpm
I daily drive my 2019 370Z with no problem and I feel much the same as you about the car. I have the sport coupe model, one level above base, that had Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires in a staggered fitment that doesn't allow tire rotation. I got about 15K miles on the tires, with the front tires bald and the rears pretty low on tread. For replacements I went with the same size Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires(245/40x19 front, 275/35x19 rear) the OEM fitment. These tires theoretically should go to 30K miles but at 20K miles I have only used up about half of the tread. These tires are also significantly quieter than the Bridgestones.
Man, I just purchased a 2008 350Z I never thought that this car would be so fun to drive and after I buy the car man has test pipe z1 and the exhaust system is loud

I currently live in the valley and I own a 350 Z have to deal with potholes and all sorts of craziness my shut out to shout out to everyone who is a big Nissan Z fan if you ever drive panels on a daily basis I always recommend taking different highways that don’t have so much Potholes or plain and simple drive your car like if it’s an old jaguar I have use this idea and it’s helped a lot most of the time I don’t like to push my car to the panel only because it’s considered a classic and it 15 has years never drive so fast in a roaster specially a car like a 350 Z or a Honda S 2000 I never recommend anybody to drive fast I look at it more like chill out enjoy put your top down if your car is required convertible and enjoy life because these cars are very easy to damage and very easy to break if you don’t take care of them technically in the area where you live that has a lot to do with that as well
You are absolutely correct. Every single day these cars are crashed, or modified in ways that are close to irreversible. Driving really fast is over-rated anyways!😜 I'll take some twisty canyons with some good, sticky tires any day!🙌

you can adjust the toe caster camber so that it doesn't burn through tires sounds like your alignment is off
Definitely have a few degrees of camber all around, but I think it looks good haha I do get an alignment about once a year though!

I'm selling my NB and thinking about getting a Z. To be honest I was able to get basic groceries with it but it's really not that good nor too bad. It's worse in a last gen MR2 where you can only put your bag into it.
I've personally never driven the NB, but I do have an NA! I'd say you'll enjoy the power increase for sure; plus plenty of storage under the hatch + compartments! I think the Z is a perfect upgrade from the Miata!

Drive to school, get food, drive to my friends house, etc. Plus, they’re going to hold their value, if not increase in value so you’ll always be able to sell it for about what you paid! All I’d be watch for is insurance, as it could get a little pricey as it’s your first car. Always worth checking it out!🙏🏼

Hey I have a base model and I got mine tuned so I had to install cruise control so I could change maps , the cruise control works too . It only takes three parts to install cruise control on a base model

I am trying to buy 2006 350z, what are some things that I should keep in mind? like does it have a common problem?
Currently it has 137k miles on it, the owner had it for 8 years and he is asking for $5.6k.
He says that the breaks need to be replaced. Car has couple scratches, but no accident or codes.
Hey! I have the same year car! Is it a manual? 05 and 06 years happen to burn a little more oil than the other years, but it's not too big of a deal, I just add a little about once a week! Ask him about the oil burning, and if he's done proper changing intervals and it should be good! 137k Isn't bad at all for these cars, that go well into the 200k range. 5.6k isn't a bad deal either. I'd try and get him down to 5k since it needs breaks, and probably burns a bit of oil. Good luck, and keep me posted! :) 🙌

Depends what you're looking for! I prefer the more simplistic styling of the 350z, but then the HR motor in the 370z is pretty refined! Try to find maybe an 07/08 350z, this is when they switched to the updated HR motor. Burns less oil/more hp/etc... I'm a die hard 350z fan, and would have to go with a 350z over a 370z🙏 Thanks for tuning in Cole!

Haven’t watched the video but drove one for 2 years straight . Ummm blind spots. Better hope you don’t hit an animal , even as small as an armadillo . It was. DE so oil consumption, 3rd gear synchros suck. Insurance . Ummmm wouldn’t recommend if you’re younger than 22 tbh....with that being said the only thing I regret is the amount of money I put into it lol . I loved my Z and and planning on replacing it with a 370 :)

So what gas should i put in one if i get one because ive seen 87 octane is ok without damage and also im having trouble convincing my parents because its rwd and theyre worried about winter
Hey!! I only put 91 in my car; I did some searching and it seems people are putting 87 in without any big issues. The owners manual says 91, and the cost difference at 30c/gallon extra for 10 gallons is only $3. Not too much more, and well worth it for the extra performance! As far as winter driving, just practice driving in the rain and get used to throttle pressure and you’ll be good; plus some winter tires! Hope it works out!🙏🏼
