Somebody bought it this year and tore off all the woodwork and painted it a gray box, then built an ugly garage all along the sidewalk. Completely destroyed.

As a 45 year resident of SF, I can tell you I have never seen a homeless person anywhere in the Pacific heights neighborhood and very rarely in the close in business districts that cater to it. Most of the homeless are downtown, South of Market, the light industry zones further South, and the greater Mission. Contrary to the mass market press, SF isn’t entirely an outdoor insane asylum…..
